Arrow is based on The Green Arrow comic book series. It stars Stephen Amell in the title role, also known as Oliver Queen.

Oliver was also under the impression that the girl who went with him, Sara Lance, was killed at sea. It is later discovered that she suffered a much worse fate than Oliver but he promised her he would never reveal her fate to her family. He later talked her into making a move toward her family and she emerges as The Canary.
Laurel Lance is shocked that the loss of Oliver and Sara cost her so much when there were both alive. Det. Lance and his wife split up, Laurel felt incredible guilt and anger at the betrayal.
Now that Oliver is back and fighting crime in Starling City, he arms himself with arrows and trusted friends such as John Diggle and Felicity Smoak. Read about the seasons for more information.
