by at .  Updated at . Comments

For some, the road was long. For one, it was a mere song before he or she found ended up in Starling City, poised for stardom.

We had a hooker, a preacher, a prep-school brat, two tours on Gossip Girls and two on 90210, many trips through the supernatural as wizards, werewolves and fighting zombies - and that's just a hint of all of the acting experience involved in building the awesomeness that is the Arrow cast.

It's always exciting to see where people were before we fell in love with them as a cast. So where did Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Paul Blackthorne, Willa Holland, Caity Lotz, Colton Haynes and John Barrowman get their starts?

Your answers are mere clicks away. Flip through the slide show for exciting photos!

Manu Bennett: Before he portrayed Slade Wilson's tragic devolution into the villainous
Deathstroke, before he was the white orc Azog in "The Hobbit", or
Crixus on "Spartacus", he guest-starred as Marc Antony on "Xena: Warrior Princess"! That would probably be the first place American audiences would have spotted Manu Bennett. Incidentally, "Xena" actually guest-starred quite a number of familiar faces: Ted Raimi, Karl Urban, Bruce Campbell, Timothy Omundson, and Melinda Clarke, just to name a few!

Arrow Quotes

Laurel: Helena, you don't have to do this.
Helena: Yes, I do. Because once you let the darkness inside, it never comes out.

Every warrior must learn the simple truth -- that pain is inevitable and suffering is optional.
