TV Ratings Report: black-ish Busts Out, Nashville Sings Strong Tune

ABC enjoyed a strong night across the board on Wednesday.

black-ish led the way with 7.7 million overall viewers, gaining 13 percent in the 18-49-year old demographic.

From there, Nashville (5.6 million/1.5 rating among 18-49-year olds) ticked up 4 to match its best rating in nearly a year, while Modern Family remained a winner at 9.8 million viewers.

The Middle (6.9 million/1.8) and The Goldbergs (6.8 million/2.1) both lost a few eyeballs when compared with last week.

Elsewhere around the dial:

  • The Mysteries of Laura (7.5 million/1.2) dipped 10 percent overall a tenth in the ratings field.
  • Arrow Season 3 Episode 4 (2.8 million/1.0) and The 100 Season 2 Episode 2 (1.87 million/0.6) mostly remained steady.
  • On CBS, Survivor (8.7 million/2.2) held steady, while Criminal Minds (10.3 million/2.3) dropped by 8 percent among young adults and Stalker (7.3 million/1.5) was down 12 percent.
