Mulaney premiered on Fox last night. Not that many people were aware of this fact.

The new sitcom came out of the gate to a paltry 2.3 million viewers, starting the countdown already until its inevitable cancelation.

Elsewhere on the network, the Bob's Burger’s season premiere also dropped from last year’s opener, while The Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Family Guy all completed a disappointing evening for Fox.

On ABC, Once Upon a Time Season 4 Episode 2 scored a 3.1 rating among 18-49-year olds, down six tenths from last week's premiere. Resurrection, meanwhile, earned a 1.8 (down seven tenths from last week's 2.5), while Revenge Season 4 Episode 2 notched a 1.3, also down two tenths from last Sunday.

On CBS, Madam Secretary inched up with 12.1 million total viewers and a 1.7 demographic rating, while The Good Wife earned a 1.4, up a tenth from last week's 1.3. Over 10 million households tuned in to the latter.

CSI was even with last week's series low 1.3 adults 18-49 rating.

Overall, as you might expect, football on NBC was the most-watched program on television.
