Netflix to the rescue, Longmire Fanatics.

The streaming service announced today that it has picked up Longmire for a 10-episode fourth season that will air at some point in 2015.

The news arrives about three months after A&E pulled the plug on the drama following three well-reviewed seasons.

“When Warner Horizon Television came to us with the idea for a new season of Longmire, we were intrigued because the series is so unique, and consistently great.  We are thrilled to help continue Walt Longmire’s story for his large and passionate following,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content at Netflix.

The company has even announced that Longmire Season 4 will pick up shortly after season three’s finale, with Walt having discovered who was behind the murder of his wife and setting up on a dark path of revenge.

“We’re excited and honored to have the opportunity to bring this show that we love so much, and all its devoted fans, to Netflix," said Longmire producers in a statement.
