Today Showtime not only announced that Penny Dreadful returns Sunday, April 26 but they released the first Season 2 trailer.
In it, we witness the aftermath of Ethan's bar brawl and see Dorian longing for Vanessa. Victor continues to struggle with his choice to spare Caliban, while the creature learns to Waltz. Is he preparing himself for Brona's rebirth? What is that meeting going to be like?
The imagery hints at witchcraft in Season 2. Apparently, Madame Kali (Evelyn Poole) is not a fraud after all. She's a badass witch and this season's main antagonist. That's a hell of a lot of blood she's bathing in isn't it?
It's a haunting preview, so prepare yourself for an even darker Penny Dreadful than last season.
