Damon Dayoub Nabs Male Lead in New Shonda Rhimes Drama

Damon Dayoub is on his way to Shondaland.

The actor, who appeared on three episodes of NCIS Season 11 as Adam Eshel, has landed the lead male role in The Catch.

From executive producers Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers, the upcoming drama has been given a pilot green light by ABC and will center on Mireille Enos as Alice Martin, a woman who is about to be married... and conned by her fiance, played by Dayoub.

But it turns out that Alice investigates fraud for a living.

So when her fiancé’s scheme collides with her own lies, the pair plunge into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.

It sounds complicated, but it also sounds like a winner.

We're shocked ABC didn't simply give a series order to anything from the woman behind Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder.
