The Big Bang Theory Fashion Show: Penny's Style Evolution

at .

For eight seasons, we've known Penny as the pretty girl across the hall from Leonard and Sheldon on The Big Bang Theory.

More importantly, she's a loyal friend who says what's on her mind, and has had just as much to teach her geeky friends and they've had to teach her. In fact, she's probably taught them more.

Over the course of the series, she's become engaged to Leonard (who never thought he had a chance with her) and become close friends with Sheldon, Amy, Bernadette – and even Raj and Howard.

Penny has also moved away from her acting jobs (particularly those involving gorilla suits) and waitressing at The Cheesecake Factory to working a career as a pharmaceutical sales rep.

Along with her character's development, though, we have also seen Penny's style change throughout the years. She's remained casual and cute throughout, with the biggest changes coming from her various hairstyles.

Oh, Bernadette, please play my clarinet.

Raj's poem

Sheldon: I'll have a diet Coke.
Penny: Can you please order a cocktail? I need to practice mixing drinks.
Sheldon: Fine... I'll have a virgin Cuba Libre.
Penny: That's... rum and Coke without the rum.
Sheldon: Yes, and would you make it diet?
