Could you remember your first day on a job if it happened nearly 40 years ago?

Deidre Hall could when she was asked to think back to her first scene on the Days of Our Lives set when Dr. Marlena Evans made her debut in 1976.

Hall, along with co-stars Drake Hogestyn, Peggy McKay and Greg Vaughan were present at last weekend's Day of Days event in Los Angeles, which commemorated the show's 50th anniversary on the air. 

During our chat with Hall and Hogestyn, they also talked about the addition of new, younger cast members to the show, as well as returning favorites like Martha Madison's Belle, who returns just in time for Thanksgiving next week.

When we talked with Peggy McKay and Greg Vaughan, the twosome joked about McCay's long career and Vaughan lamented on Eric's long list of dramatic events, including his fractured relationship with Nicole, leaving the priesthood and how he blamed himself for the recent death of Serena.
