Netflix has announced that Daredevil, its wildly popular superhero drama, will return for Season 2 on Friday, March 18.
As is always the case with a series on Netflix, all 13 episodes will be released for streaming on that date.
Daredevil Season 2 will be executive producer by Doug Petrie (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Horror Story) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy).
It will find the titular hero facing a new enemy courtesy of The Punisher (Jon Bernthal, The Walking Dead) and former flame Elektra Natchios (Elodie Yung, G.I. Joe: Retaliation).
The second season will also premiere amidst the release of the Netflix original Marvel’s Jessica Jones... the upcoming Marvel’s Luke Cage ... and future release of Marvel’s Iron Fist.
These will all lead up to the teaming of the main characters in Marvel’s The Defenders to premiere only on Netflix.
