Homeland Season 6: Setting Announced, Clue on Quinn's Fate Revealed

at .

Carrie is coming back to America.

At the TCA press tour today, Showtime announced the setting for Homeland Season 6 will be in and around New York City.

This is not only because the creative team is interested in writing a story centered in America, but to give the stars a little bit of time closer to home.

Making a Play - Homeland

According to EW, when one critic asked why shows such as Game of Thrones and Homeland have been centering their cliffhangers on whether not major characters are alive or dead, the answer they received was that Homeland is based upon reality.

“It’s a show that, more than those other shows, attempts to live in the real world,” Showtime head David Nevins said.

“With Homeland, it’s not about playing games, it’s not a supernatural show, there will be no supernatural solution — if he should live.”

The conversation continued with programming president Gary Levine adding that the life or death question remains on the table.

But if he's alive, Quinn will be severely altered and damaged and will not return as the same character we once knew.

Given that new information, what do you hope happened to Quinn at the end of Homeland Season 5?

Do you hope Carrie put Quinn out of his misery, or do you want him to return a damaged man, nothing like the strong warrior he once was?

What would Quinn have wanted? Drop us a line if you're interested in where this might be heading.
