Supergirl Season 1 Episode 11 Review: Strange Visitor From Another Planet

at .  Updated at .

There's another Supergirl, and this time it's not a shape-shifting Hank.

Maxwell Lord was notably absent from Supergirl Season 1 Episode 11, but his lab project made her first appearance in the real world.

So, what is he planning to do with her?

From the preview, it looks like he intends to use her to kill Kara, but there has to be more to it than that. He could have devised anything to kill her, but he made a clone for a reason.

So, is the plan to make her look bad first and then kill her?

I still want to know what he's going to do with the knowledge that Alex is her sister. Maybe he'll use the clone to try to trick Alex, though I don't see that working.

Anyway, there still was some shape-shifting going on, only this time it was the evil White Martian who was doing it. Did you guys suspect that the person inside the DEO wasn't the real Senator Crane?

I didn't at first, but I did think that the one Alex found wasn't really her. Something had to happen to force Hank's hand.

His tragic story to Alex was so heartbreaking. He has been holding that inside for all these years, it must have been helpful to finally tell someone.

It seems like everyone on this show at one point or another feels the need to handle dangerous situations alone, but come on guys, it is time to figure out that that is not the way to go.

Hank has basically become part of the family, they weren't about to let him sacrifice himself.

My daughters were named Kim and Anya. It's not the same, but, any man would be proud to call you his daughters.

Hank

This team works great together for a reason. If I were Alex, I'd hide those kryponite handcuffs just in case.

Sadly, the team was down one member as Winn is avoiding Kara and she is trying to give him space and time. I missed him when Kara and James were working in their secret headquarters. I hope he finds a way to move past this soon.

Then, if things go well between Kara and Adam, maybe our trio can put this whole love triangle to rest and just be good friends for awhile. We just need to find someone new for Winn.

What do you guys think of the idea of Kara and Adam? Could get awkward being that he's Cat's son, but I like Alex's advice to just enjoy the date and not worry about what may or may not happen. Kara deserves to have some fun.

I like every opportunity we get to see Cat's vulnerable side, and as awkward as it was to have Kara at the second attempt between the two of them, she forced Cat to express her true feelings.

It is also interesting that Cat seems to have no qualms at all about Kara dating her son, even encouraging it. We will have to see where all this leads, assuming Adam sticks around for awhile.

The White Martian had some pretty ominous words for Kara there at the end. Will we see an army of them come to rescue it?

James got his wish to get back into the field. Who else thought for a second he was calling Superman with his watch?

If you missed anything, you can watch Supergirl online and catch up!

You've had my back a million times. I've got this one. I'll bring it in.

Kara

Kara: I should have let it eat her.
Hank: It would've. Still might.
