Jane the Virgin Season 2 Episode 10 Review: Chapter Thirty-Two

at .  Updated at .

In the modern world of romance, online dating seems to be the way to go.

With some pushing on Lina's part, Jane was thrown back into the world of dating on Jane the Virgin Season 2 Episode 10.

So did Jane go out with anyone special? Let's discuss!

Normally, I'd be on board with Jane expanding her horizons and dating new men, but nothing about her two potential suitors interested me. Come on, did any of us really see her with the skateboarder?

Still, it's nice to see Jane stepping outside her comfort zone. Watching her get sucked into online dating was true to the world we live in now. As someone who also got pulled down the rabbit hole of online dating, watching her reluctance turn into excitement was fun to watch.

While Lina would love for her to let loose a little, Jane is still a romantic at heart. Even though you can find someone to hook up with via a plethora of apps these dates, Jane still yearns for her "meet-cute" moment.

When was the last time you got any action? Virgin action, even?

Lina

She might not need one if her dream about Professor Chavez comes true. Let's keep out fingers crossed that Jane can turn their professional relationship into a personal one.

Jane's writing also seemed to come along nicely, but I feel like we've been recycling the writer's block storyline a little too much now. I think it's about time we saw some more development with her stories.

Switching gears, apparently Michael has been carrying Sin Rostro's computer chip in his leg this entire time. This little twist didn't sit as well with me as Mutter being Rafael's mother. I get it was tiny, but wouldn't Michael have felt Nadine put the chip in his leg when she was tending to the cut?

Also, Jane the Virgin Season 2 Episode 9 ended with Rafael's mom sticking him with some kind of syringe. That was a fairly big moment to end an episode on, so I was surprised there was little follow-through with his emotional state afterward. The writers should have given him more time to process the truth about his mother.

Petra didn't have much to do this week other than be bedridden. The only bright side was her continuing bond with Rafael. I'm still on board with seeing these two exes get back together. The scene where they were discussing baby names was adorable.

Rogelio reached a new place of understanding with his father, who always felt he couldn't attend his son's performances for fear of running into people who could expose him. Rogelio quickly regretted his decision to make his mother his manager, but his heart was in the right place.

Unfortunately, Liliana took her role as "momager" too far and inserted her opinions where they didn't need to be. Thankfully, Xo stepped up and tried to place the blame on herself. Liliana was too smart for that, but Xo earned her approval in the process. Maybe we're one step closer to seeing Xo and Rogelio finally tie the knot.

So over to you guys! Do you think Jane and Professor Chavez would be a good match? Who is Pablo Alonso Segura, and why was Alba looking him up? What are your predictions for Jane the Virgin Season 2 Episode 11?
