Blindspot Season 2: Archie Panjabi Tapped for Major Recurring Role

It turns out Archie Panjabi is never that far from the NSA.
Remember all of the shenanigans they pulled on The Good Wife?
Well, Panjabi is of the mind that if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, and is jumping on board Blindspot Season 2 in a major recurring role in which she'll be playing a member of the sneaky group.
Not just a member, but the head of a secret division of the NSA that has been tracking Jane Doe from afar.
How much more secret can you possibly get than the NSA?!
It appears we're about to find out.
This is Panjabi's first major role since leaving The Good Wife a year before the series ended. Her character, Kalinda, walked out and was never seen again.
Panjabi is all about secrecy.
She was also tapped as the lead in a new pilot up for consideration this fall, The Jury, which was ultimately passed over.
Panjabi is picking her next project well, however.
Blindspot was the highest rated and most watched freshman scripted series of the 2015-16 season.
For Season 2, Blindspot will be shifting nights from it's post-Voice time slot to open up Wednesday nights at 8/7c.
Certainly, Panjabi's addition will bring new fans into the mix who hadn't already tuned in for all the action.
Panjabi is an Emmy-winning actress for her role as Kalinda Sharma on The Good Wife and has a lot of fans.
It will be interesting to see what she can bring to the already successful series starring Jaimie Alexander and Sullivan Stapleton about a Jane Doe discovered in the middle of Times Square covered in tattoos which have led to mysteries and conspiracies galore.
