Teresa and Brady prepared for their wedding, Laura did her best to make Chad miserable and villains from the past plotted against the good folks of Salem. 

Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Wendylou from MyHourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to discuss new villains, who will be the fall guy and which character they’d like to leave Salem.

Which are you the happiest to see return: Clyde, Orpheus, or Xander?

Jack: Orpheus! I have always been a huge Orpheus fan and can't wait to see what he does now.

Wendylou: I like Xander the best out of the three characters (although I admit I'm not familiar with Orpheus) but I'm kind of worried about the fact that he's out for revenge against Theresa.

Christine: I vaguely recall Orpheus. I actually have to go back for a refresher. I’m not thrilled with any of the three but Salem needs a solid villain. Besides, I’d love to see Clyde eventually get some sort of comeuppance for killing EJ.

Who will be the fall guy for Tate’s kidnapping?

Jack: I have no idea. I hope Victor and Deimos double cross Kate and expose her, to be honest, but they will probably find some random passer-by to pin it on.

Wendylou: I'm hoping it will be Summer but I could also see Victor and Kate trying to blame it on Theresa just so they could get rid of her.

Christine: Ugh. I hate this twist. I wish they’d blame it all on Summer but then I’d only feel bad for Maggie. If they pin it on Theresa I’ll hate it even more. 

Do you think Theresa and Brady will really get married and do you want them to?

Jack: I think they will but I'm not sure I want them to. I never thought I'd say this, but I think Theresa deserves better.

Wendylou: Yes, I want them to get married but it sure doesn't look good. Xander seems to be headed back for revenge and I'm thinking Brady may be upset with her when he finds out she sent a man to jail on a lie (not that Xander was an angel).

Christine: I agree with Jack. If it weren’t for Tate, I wouldn’t be rooting for this couple at all. Theresa’s far smarter than Brady. It’s just nice to see Theresa happy for a change. 

Rate Laura’s return from a 1 (horrible) to a 10 (loved it).

Jack: I'm gonna go squarely in the middle with a 5. I used to be a Laura fan and her scenes with Jennifer and later with JJ were great. I'm glad the PTSD vs schizophrenia issue has finally been cleared up. But all that looking down her nose at Chad has to go! Jennifer has finally been straightened out on that point and doesn't need encouragement to get all judgey again.

Wendylou: I know a lot of people are big fans of Laura but she's never been a favorite of mine. Her return didn't do much to change my opinion. She waltzed into town and unleashed a load of judgment on Chad, which he didn't deserve. The only good thing was her diagnosis of PTSD for Abby (though how she gained access to Abby's records I don't get). I'm glad she's gone. I give it a 5 since we at least got Abby's diagnosis straight.

Christine: A 2. I’ve never really liked Laura and my estimation plummeted with this visit. She was horrible to Chad and showed absolutely no compassion to a man who is grieving his wife. It’s as though the only way to make Jennifer more human was to give her judgmental streak to her mother…times ten!

Choose one (just one) character you wish would leave Salem?

Jack: Hmm... well, Laura and her attitude are gone so it's a toss up between Hope and her stupid daughter. Both of them are incredibly selfish women who think the world revolves around them. Has Hope even checked in with Jen once since Abigail's supposed death?

Wendylou: Joey. He's as flat and lifeless as his hair. Please send him away to college or something and let Steve and Kayla live their own empty-nest lives. They're much more interesting without him.

Christine: I’m with Wendylou. Joey needs to go. He’s boring and whiny. If Steve and Kayla weren’t sharing scenes with him I’d change the channel. 

What was your favorite quote, scene or storyline from the week?

Jack: All things JJ. FINALLY!!!! I loved seeing him try to work things out with Gabi and stand up for Shawn at the police station. 

Wendylou: It's always hard for me to remember a whole week's worth of scenes but I think it was probably Friday's scenes between Chad, Gabi and Sonny. Chad's been taking a beating and it was nice to see him get some support from friends for once. These three have a long history and I love Chad and Sonny's friendship. I like them all and I think they are a good group of 20 - 30 somethings to focus on.

Christine: Yes, Chad, Sonny, and Gabi were wonderful. I hope that we see a lot more of these three sharing scenes together going forward.
