The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 6 Review: 2106

All is fair in love and volleyball.

The Bachelor Season 21 Episode 6 brought us to St. Thomas, but a lot of the women leave the island before it ends. But before we get to that, we have loose ends to tie up in New Orleans.

A Heartbreaking Story - The Bachelor

The girls weren't surprised when Taylor's suitcase was picked up by production, but you know they're secretly hoping they take Corinne's bag, too.

Meanwhile, Taylor escaped from the Bayou to confront Nick. She probably used a voodoo doll to convince production to give her a ride.

She told him that Corinne has "flat out lied" and tried to make her seem like a "bully." Nick didn't seem interested in hearing Taylor's side of the story, but made sure she knew he "appreciates" her trying.

I want you to open your eyeballs because I'm not the only one saying this about Corinne.

Taylor

And nothing makes you feel appreciated like being sent home twice, right?

Personally, I think both Corinne and Taylor need to learn not to use the word "bully" so lightly.

Nick said his decision to send Taylor home wasn't based on what Corinne told him. He's not lying, but he left out the part that production definitely told him it wasn't time to send Corinne home yet.

What I learned tonight is cats have nine lives, and bitches have two.

Corinne

Corinne's number of lives? The limit does not exist.

Nick canceled the cocktail party, and the girls were devastated. I'm talking Katniss-Everdeen-after-her-sister-gets-called-to-be-in-the-Hunger-Games devastated.

But this time no one volunteered as tribute (aka to go home).

Alexis, Josephine and Jaimi were sent home, but have no fear because Whitney (whoever the hell that is) got a rose.

It's seriously not cool to send Alexis home right before they head to St. Thomas. Think about the dolphin/shark date possibilities.

Alexis shark girl

She better get to swim with dolphins and fall madly in love on Bachelor in Paradise.

Jasmine was crying because she didn't get the one-on-one. She should have been crying tears of joy that she got to spend time in St. Thomas without having to try and convince Nick to like her. The contestants on this show don't appreciate the free vacations enough.

St. Thomas is the perfect place to fall in love. And to send people home.

Raven

Kristina got the first one-on-one date in St. Thomas, and it's only a matter of minutes before they were frolicking in the ocean.

ABC sent the girls Corinne a housekeeper named Lorna for their stay in St. Thomas. Lorna took Corinne lobster dip and a pina colada, and it was shocking Corinne didn't ask her to take it back and bring her cheese pasta and cucumber slices.

The show took a serious turn when Kristina opened up about her childhood in Russia. She explained her family had no food so she had to eat lipstick, and she was kicked out of the house.

If you go to America, your life will be in color.

Kristina

She deserves all of the roses. And a better life than this show (and Nick) can offer her.

On the group date, Nick was asking the important questions of his girlfriends like "Halloween or Christmas?" and "chocolate or vanilla?"

While the rest of the girls were playing volleyball, Corinne left the game to go do some more shots. I want to judge her, but I would 100% do the same thing.

It's also unbelievably awkward to watch Nick watch the girls play volleyball. I'm having flashbacks back to gym class. (If my former gym teachers are reading this, I'm still upset about that B.)

It was only a matter of time before all of them stormed off the court and cried because Nick wasn't giving them enough attention. There's no crying in baseball, but there's certainly crying in volleyball.

I don't want to compete for Nick's attention.

Rachel

It's hard to feel bad for them when they signed up for a reality show that is based around competing for one man's attention.

And only on The Bachelor can you see one person cry over their difficult childhood in Russia and another cry over a volleyball game within a matter of minutes.

Jasmine continued to cry over not getting one-on-one attention from Nick. Someone needs to give her a copy of "He's Just Not That Into You" ASAP.

I like him so much, but I want to like choke him right now.

Jasmine

She confronted Nick about being overlooked, and he sent her home. To be fair, she did threaten to choke him about 12 times, so I can't really blame him. I'm surprised he didn't call one of the interns in for security backup.

I'm also surprised ABC didn't get Fifty Shades Darker to sponsor this group date.

Danielle L and Whitney went on the SECOND two-on-one date of the season. This is just more proof that Nick doesn't care about these women and is doing anything the producers say.

During his conversation with Danielle L, Nick left to go talk to Whitney. She was enjoying a glass of wine, and frankly, I think it was rude he interrupted her peaceful moment to send her home.

At least she was abandoned on the beach instead of in the Bayou.

Whitney is left on The Bachelor

It's also a miracle Whitney made it this far, and she should be feeling blessed that so many companies will want to work with her on Instagram now.

Back at the hotel, Vanessa was questioning all of Nick's decisions after she fouond out he sent Whitney home on the two-on-one date. I am questioning her decision to continuously call Danielle L. "D-Lo."

On their dinner date, Danielle L. told Nick that she was "falling in love with him." He didn't respond, and couldn't even make eye contact with her. Was he trying to set a record for the most girls sent home on an episode of The Bachelor?

Or was he just not into any of these women and getting tried of pretending? No one ever said he was a good actor.

He pulled the classic "it's not you, it's me" and started to have a breakdown that the process is not going to work.

Nick crying

All of the women are nervous that Nick is going to quit the show because he is so discouraged. I would be less worried he was going to quit (it's called a contract), and more worried that he's crying over other women who aren't me.
