The CW DC Crossover Key Art Confirms Big Wedding

A big wedding will take place on The CW's Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow crossover which is scheduled to air in November.

That much was teased on the key art for the four-part crossover event which is titled "Crisis on Earth-X."

The big wedding, of course, is between Barry Allen and Iris West and it sure looks like things are going to get difficult for them on the big day as enemies invade the big event.

The CW and Warner Bros. tasked comic artist Phil Jimenez to create a custom comic book art for the poster, and it looks pretty awesome!

The official logline for the crossover reads "With all of the heroes in town to celebrate Barry and Iris’s wedding, villains from Earth-X crash the festivities with a deadly agenda."

A Bearded Hero Is Reborn - The Flash Season 4 Episode 1

“We conceived this year’s crossover to be evocative of the annual Justice League/Justice Society crossovers we grew up with and looked forward to as kids,” said executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg.

“Phil was the perfect choice to bring the comic book cover iteration of this idea to life. You can count on one hand the number of artists who could compellingly represent so many characters in a single image."

"Phil is one of them. And his design invokes the cover of Justice League #207, which was the 20th Annual JLA/JSA crossover. Our ten-year-old selves are in heaven.”

Russell Tovey Attends Olivier Awards

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that Russell Tovey has been cast as gay superhero The Ray on the crossover event which is scheduled to air on two nights from November 27.

Tovey is also set to voice the character on CW Seed series, Freedom Fighters: The Ray.

Ray is described as "a reporter who discovered a group of government scientists working on a secret project to turn light into a weapon of mass destruction."

After a crazy twist, he winds up with abilities that make him a superhero.

The CW Quotes

Alice: These diaries are your past, and your past is crushing you. Edgar says that...
Betty: What, Mom? What does some guru who’s running a heaven’s gate commune for pregnant runaways and wives of serial killers have to say about my diaries?
Alice: We know that you look down on the Farm, Betty. But, Edgar has done nothing but help me. He’s encouraged me to embrace everything that I was ashamed of and become the best version of myself.

Veronica: What's happening out there? Do we know? Is it about me?
Jughead: I have a strong inkling, and no. Also, I'd let it go.
Veronica: Yes, but you're you and I'm me. You do you, girl. I'll be back.
[She leaves]
Kevin: What was it like before she got here? I honestly cannot remember.
