Days of Our Lives Round Table: Who Should Finally Out Lani?

Gabi confronted Lani about the baby, Stefan tried to help Abigail’s alters, while Brady begged forgiveness from Eve this week in Salem.

Our TV Fanatics Jack Ori and Christine Orlando are joined by Kierstin and Tinab from My Hourglass a Days of Our Lives fan forum to debate Eric and Jennifer’s romance, who should spill Lani’s secret, and if Eve should take Brady back on Days of Our Lives.

On a scale of 1 (boring) to 10 (romantic super-couple) rate Eric and Jennifer’s romance.

Jack: Somewhere between a 6 and 7. We haven't seen a whole lot of them together and they seem to mostly talk about Eve. I like them as a couple and think they have decent chemistry, but I've always shipped Eric and Eve, and when I saw him with her my interest in him and Jennifer went down a little.

Kierstin: 1 (boring). The moment has passed for Eric and Jennifer.

Tinab: I give Jenn and Eric a 6.... they have potential but need a better storyline.

Christine: They're a 3. I want to like them together but I feel no romantic chemistry. They make great friends, but so far I find them to be a pretty boring couple.

Who do you hope outs Lani’s secret to JJ?

Jack: I really wish that JJ would investigate these things that don't add up and find out for himself. That would be true to character.

But since the writers aren't allowing that to happen, I'd like Gabi to prove she actually loves him by telling him her suspicions.

Or Eli could be a stand up guy, instead of the idiot he is half the time, and decide he can't do this either to his child or to his cousin.

Kierstin: Gabi, because Lani slept with both of Gabi's boyfriends.

Tinab: Gabi for sure. She deserves some vindication.

Christine: It feels like Gabi should be the one to tell him, but after this week, I found myself hoping that Julie would find out. Can you imagine the scene she’d make in calling out Lani? It would be awesome.

Is Stefan trying to help Abigail by saving her from possibly going to prison, or is he trying to seduce her or one of her alters?

Jack: It seems like he's trying to seduce "Gabby". He really should be telling Marlena what he knows, or someone else who is qualified to help. Don't the Dimeras usually have psychiatrists and doctors on their payroll they can call at a moment's notice?

Kierstin: I think Stefan is trying to seduce one of her alters, because he can't have Abigail, so he wants to settle for one of her alters.

Tinab: I guess he's trying to seduce one of her alters. I don’t like this story at all.

Christine: Ugh. It appears he’s more interesting in seducing Gabigail, which makes him really sleazy. I have no idea where the show plans to take his character in the future, but as of now, I find him difficult to watch.

Did Sonny have the right to be angry with Will and Paul?

Jack: That was so ridiculous. He's been broken up with both these guys for a long time, this is not Rafe jumping into bed with Sami and then going back to Hope.

Sonny was also hypocritical, since he focused on Will making other arrangements for Ari when the day before he'd offered to babysit so Gabi could have alone time with Eli.

Kierstin: No, because Sonny dumped Paul like a hot potato. Paul deserves to be happy.

Tinab: Sonny has no right. He stomped on Paul’s heart and deserved the fallout

Christine: Remember when Sonny used to be a good guy? Now he’s such a hypocrite. I can understand him being hurt by Paul and Will getting together, but he has no one to blame but himself.

Sonny would do anything to get Will back, the guy who cheated on him, but dropped Paul, a great guy, like a hot rock. Sonny’s gotten exactly what he deserves.

Would you like to see Eve and Brady get back together?

Jack: Absolutely not! Eve deserves better, even with all her flaws and the things she's done she doesn't deserve a scam artist drunkard like Brady. I'd rather see Eve and Jen battle it out over Eric.

Kierstin: I would like to see Eve and Brady get together until Theresa returns. When Theresa returns, I would like for Brady and Theresa to be a couple.

Tinab: I really don’t. Brady has been an ass and he needs to be single for a while and try focusing on Tate.

Christine: Goodness no. Despite Eve’s flaws, she deserves better than Brady. She’s smarter and has a bigger heart. I would have loved to see her and Eric get together. That could have some sizzle.

What, if anything, disappointed you this week in Salem?

Jack: Gabi agreeing to keep what she knows about Eli and Lani secret from JJ. I wish she hadn't. This needs to end.

Also I wish Lani had walked in on Valerie telling JJ and Abe that Eli is the father of Lani's baby. That's drama I would have loved to have seen!

Finally, anything at all having to do with this Dissociative Identity Disorder storyline either annoys or confuses me.

Kierstin: I wasn't disappointed by anything in particular this week.

Tinab: I am just over the alter personalities. I haven’t disliked a story this much in a long time.

Christine: Abigail (in whatever form she takes) and Stefan were really annoying.

Also, the truth needs to come out about Lani because I’m so tired of her trying to make the rest of Salem feel guilty about her lies.

And I’d like to see Brady go to a rehab facility to really get sober, just so I don’t have to see him for a while.

What was your favorite quote, scene or storyline on this week’s Days of Our Lives?

Jack: I loved Gabi turning the tables on Lani and being the one to interrogate her!

But the best scenes of the week were definitely Steve and Kayla. Their lunch date with Justin and Adrienne was the kind of family scene that got me hooked on Days for all these years and I'd like to see more of it, and I loved seeing them support each other through Steve's potential loss of his vision.

Kierstin: My favorite scene this week was when Steve called Adrienne "Bonnie" LOL! Hilarious!

Tinab: I loved Eve telling Brady off at the alter! Her rage looked real, for sure!

Christine: I loved when Gabi telling off Lani in interrogation. Now if she would only tell JJ the truth.

Also, I enjoyed Eli standing up to Julie and her sharing her regrets about how she handled David and how she wasn’t a part of Eli’s life. Please let this drive Eli to take responsibility for his own child!

Tripp and Ciara's first kiss was kind of cute too.
