Election fever has hit the town of Riverdale! After weeks of campaigning, it's finally time for Fred Andrews and Hermione Lodge to have a mayoral debate on Riverdale Season 2 Episode 20.
Both candidates have very different platforms, especially when one of them is plotting to turn Southside High into a prison. They've tried to keep things civil for the most past; they have a shared past and they're doing it for their kids. But, tensions have sparked more recently between them.
With all their platforms and hidden agendas, their fate will be left up to the people with the real power: The voters.
Based on the preview photos below, Hermione and Fred are taking their cases to the people in their big debut. Will their debate will a respectful night or will mud be slung with a shocking take down?
Check out the photos below from "Chapter Thirty-Three: Shadow of a Doubt," which airs Wednesday, May 2 on The CW.

Coffee Time
Whenever there's a new mystery afoot or trouble brewing, Jughead needs a cup of coffee or food around to keep him calm. After all the trouble that happened with Chic, he's need all the food. Though, he looks pretty upset here.
Cheryl: Betty, it’s okay, it wasn’t Chic. Betty: But it could’ve been. Chic is probably out there with a bullet in his forehead or... Cheryl: Or he got away and he’s on a train back to Transylvania. Betty: I delivered to The Black Hood, Cheryl. That makes me a murder. I’ve been trying to prove my dad’s a killer, when really all I had to do was look in the mirror. Oh God! He got what he wanted. We’re the same.
Hal: Penny for your thoughts, Hun? Betty: I was thinking he was a test. Hal: Who was? Betty: The imposter, Chic, everything that he did to us, brought to us, was kinda a test. But, we survived and we’re stronger for it. Alice: Well, that remains to be seen. Betty: No, Mom, we are. And we’ll survive whatever comes next.
