Douglas Smith stars as Benjamin "Ben" Henrickson on HBO's Big Love.  Ben is Bill's oldest son and his mother is Barb.

Ben seems very interested in staying a Mormon, but ended up giving in to his girlfriend, Brynn, and has sex before marriage.  He then proposed to her, but she eventually dumped him when she found out he was interested in polygamy.

Although his mother is not happy Ben seems to want a polygamous lifestyle, Bill definitely supports it.

Ben also has a strange relationship with Bill's third wife, Margene, who is close in age to him.  Ben is very defensive of her around other guys and even admitted his attraction to her when they saw each other naked.
