The mysterious Claude has been living an invisible life for the past few years after quitting his job at "Pirotech," where he used to be Noah Bennet's partner. He is fired (i.e. shot) after a few years, though, because it's been discovered that Claude has been hiding another hero and has grown weary of Bennet's cause.When Peter Petrelli sees him stealing money, he chases him down and eventually forces Claude to help him learn to control his powers, lest he one day blow up New York City.Claude acts as a mentor to young Peter, but grows upset once he's actually brought back into the intricate fold that involves Mr. Bennet's shady organization.
