Major Frank Sherwood is a tough Army officer married to Denise Sherwood.
They have a son, Jeremy (Richard Bryant), who has recently enlisted, but whose emotional problems comprise a recurring theme.
Frank is a man who always makes Denise feel loved and protected, but the often shy and reserved Army wife often longs for more.

I'm with you klsteak. I think i may have a bit of a crush on Frank! ;-) I love his character: tough as nails on the outside, but when it comes to Denise, he can be really caring and sensitive. Which is why I can't stand her character right now for cheating on him.

can anyone explain to me why Terry Serpico is not a permanent fixture on Army Wives? He is by far one of the most fantastic characters on the show and actually the character that caught my attention to watch the show in the first place.
