Army Wives Spoilers: Some Lighter Moments

Army Wives star Catherine Bell, who provided fans a revealing look into the future of Frank and Denise last week, is now teasing some lighter moments on the show.

"We have some more humor this year ... We did a bunch of golfing scenes that are high-larious. Roxy, of course, can't hit a ball to save her life, which is funny, because Sally Pressman (below, left) is an amazing golfer," the Army Wives star told E! Online.

"And Denise turned out to be a bit of a shark. It's really funny."

Nothing like a little comic relief to liven things up on the base!

Army Wives Spoilers: Catherine Bell Speaks on Denise's Future

Are Denise and Frank Sherwood really, truly over on Army Wives?

Now that the divorce papers are signed and Denise (Catherine Bell) has found a new gig in stupid Colorado, fans are asking if she and Frank (Terry Serpico) are done.

Moreover, they're wondering if Catherine Bell is leaving the show.

"I'll tell you this," she told E! Online when asked about that specific topic. "I'm still in South Carolina, and I was filming the show this morning."

Exhale.

As for Frank and Denise, their divorce paperwork is done, but a relationship of some form continues, starting this Sunday at the christening of Roland and Joan's baby.

Bell says, "Frank and Denise struggle for a while. It's not over. There are some really wonderful scenes coming. There's going to be more communication about this."

Meaning Denise Sherwood standing up for herself and demanding respect?

"There's some really cool stuff coming up where you see a different side of him and their relationship. There's some positive stuff. He's really a big teddy bear."

"Frank really adores Denise. He's going to change a bit this season," Bell predicts.

Terry Serpico Speaks on Army Wives Character, Rumors

Even though Season Three is barely underway, the drama is already at an all-time high in the Sherwood family on Lifetime's Army Wives. Terry Serpico, who plays Frank Sherwood, recently spoke to TV Guide about Army Wives and his character.

Excerpts of his interview appear below. Here's what Terry Serpico has to say about Denise and what made her have an extramarital tryst, why her best gal pals are giving her the cold shoulder and what's next for the troubled couple ...

TV Guide: So where do we pick up this week with the Frank-and-Denise saga?

Terry Serpico: This week on Army Wives, Frank is on his way home [from his mission]. He's on his way to deal with his domestic situation under the guise of being reassigned. But the unspoken assignment is to deal with his wife. And in his return, there is the obvious confrontation where he wants to hear from her about the affair.

All he knows is she's been terminated from her job and the rest is all rumors.

Denise and Frank Sherwood

TV Guide: Why do you think Denise, once such a doting wife, ended up having an affair?

Terry Serpico: Denise was kind of denied a young adulthood. She married Frank when she was 19 years old; he was her only lover and her life. She got to a point where she realized there was more and she wanted to experience those things she's been denied before. She wanted to sow these wild oats, and it's a little late to be sowing those oats - not late in terms of her age, but late in that she's married.

Brigid Brannagh Previews New Season of Army Wives

On this weekend's season premiere Army Wives, Pamela debuts as the leader of the new Army Family Team Building support group.

What else will the character take on this season? Actress Brigid Brannagh spoke to TV Guide about the episodes ahead.

On upcoming storylines for Pamela: There actually are a few professions for Pam this year, as she searches for herself. She's all over the place, which I think is kind of funny. I mean, she's going to coach football!

On Pamela's personality: I like to be the bit of comic relief - after all, life is kind of boring. But I just read the script that we're [shooting] this week, and I definitely have a lot more angst for the next few episodes. I always get so emotional reading scripts like that.

As the third season premiere of Army Wives nears, Sally Pressman (Roxy) says the June 7 show will answer "every single question" ... so the wives can face a new set of problems!

For Roxy and Trevor, who are deeply invested in a failing business, those problems are financial - yet as we hinted yesterday, may be readily remedied by a plucky newcomer.

Any theories on who that might be?

"Roxy (Sally Pressman) ends up befriending her - and then she sings a little ditty at the Hump Bar, which is pretty cool."

Appearing in the episode after Lynne's is Gilmore Girls alum Kelly Bishop.
