Rutina Wesley stars as Tara Thornton on HBO's True Blood. Tara is Sookie's best friend and very protective of her. She works at Merlotte's and hooked up with owner Sam for awhile.
In season two, Tara got involved in Mary Ann's cult, getting with a hot guy named Eggs in the process. She was lucky to make it out alive.
