Wild Bill Hancock is a legendary professional wrestler who got his start in the DWL and went national before becoming a well-respected wrestling scout. He was close friends with Tom Spade, and Willie Day was his valet.

Wild Bill returned to Duffy to scout Ace Spade, which set into motion a rift between Jack and Ace Spade as Ace set his sights beyond the DWL, a family business.
