@Entwife, they actually risk turning a great character into a character without depth. Which would be sad because Baker worked so hard to establish his character. Maybe they will set his backstory to reflect his depth going forward.
It probably is but what l wonder is why they would do that because they then risk detection. Who knows what the show is up to at this point. It could go anywhere.
I know, the new cast just does not jell like the old cast. I wonder why the reboot needed to get rid of the old cast. Are they trying to keep up with other shows?
I had my fun it was a good ride and if they want to change it ok. But I don't feel like I'm just stuck with it. I watched the show because of the mystery and the shows cast had a good comradery. I don't like these new people. I actually prefer the earlier episodes to this year. I don't think I'm going to get into Jane doing things I know are not possible and not believable. If he does them with Lisbon and old cast I'm in. Sometimes it seems like someone is better then they are until you remove the things that make them what they are. I'm not interested in seeing a grown man act like a two year old.
First they did the Columbo thing, now it's The Rockford Files. Why don't they just cut to the chase and go with McMillan and Wife. Now I'm going to go watch a old series I just bought! Greatest American Hero! At least I know where they're coming from and it's pretty funny! No guess work, just pure entertainment! picked up the whole series for $20.00.
First things first, if I don't like something I won't watch it, no matter who's in it. Second, if they are doing what you say, it doesn't matter if they make an announcement or not the results will be the same. Whatever happens after that happens. We aren in the same play with Jane and Lisbon as we were with Red John. Right now I'm sure it's the tease which is what Simon Baker said they were going to do and it looks like they are doing it. I'm just not as emotionally tied to this show like I was in the beginning. The philosophical Red John ending was good but I know that was not where they were originally going with it. That's just how it ended up. I suspect the frisant with Jane and Lisbon will be the same. It will be nothing like we think it should be. Something is going in with this show, most money I suspect. Maybe they will surprise us in the end. This definitely is not the same show we started with which was more reality based. It went from reality based to just strange. I'm at the point now where the mystery is not the show but how it's being written. I am curious to see how it's going to turn out from a purely artistic point of view.
I think their playing games as usual. The same way they did with the Red John storyline. They know exactly what people are looking for and that's what you won't get. It's their tease. They are so far from it right now they are pissing people off. A lot of people are unhappy with the show right now. I'm sure because of this revenge thing they will bring the whole team back together because it involves them. The writers tease everything into oblivion. There hasn't been any news about Lisbon leaving, so I'm just assuming this is just a part if their format.
I saw an additional part of the up and coming promo. Rigsby is still alive and very excited telling someone someone wants to kill his wife. CBS did an article on The Golden Hammer and said that someone from the team's CBI past wants revenge. Also Simon Baker will be on The Talk on March 6th. I'm sure it probably has to do with some up and coming events with the show. He never shows up for nothing. So you'll probably get some answers from the interview.

Lets just hope Jane got a vehicle because he doesn't want to ride around with that hag! I'm not sure what this show is doing anymore. They said Rigspelt would be gone and their not. Lisbon is getting less face time. It's almost like the powers that be are testing the market to see if the Jane show can stand alone. I guess we'll see!
Yeah, what Rationalgal said!
I have always been suspicious of the whole Austin office thing. The director has not come forward yet and I'm beginning to wonder if it's someone we already know. We seen all the directors til now. So, who knows what's really going on.
You are right, why did it take so many FBI Agents to deliver one contact.
You were right about Lisbon being at the FBI office. They had not negotiated any thing at that point. She didn't need to be there.
I always thought it was strange that Cho, Lisbon and Jane all ended up in the same place.
It's almost like someone in that office wants to keep tabs on them. We'll see!
