IF there were a time jump, I hope it's not a big one that involves recasting any of the children. I think it'll probably only be at least 6 months though seeing as Drew will only be in college, however, if Crosby and Jasmine already have a baby, then it's had to be almost a year.
As for Sarah, I wish for once she'd do nothing. I love her character - a lot, but I wish she'd just choose herself for once instead of worrying about anyone else and do what she wants.
In regards to Parenthood (season 5) altogether - Get on it NBC! Renew it for a 22 episode order! Hell, even a 24! While you're at it, give it a sixth season too! I could totally see six seasons and a movie for Parenthood.
@Spindae 2.o and @SoapJunk: I think the concept of 9 will probably diminish shortly, as they could probably get hunted and killed or half could be good and half could be bad and they go against each other? Though I agree the concept of 9 is big, with additional cast being humans, I'm sure how they'll be able to work it out.
If you read between the lines, it says "nine aliens who have been stuck in an internment camp for a decade, only to be freed and integrated into a suburban high school on the premiere." - premiere being the key word. To me, it implies that something will happen to at least 4-5 of them.
Perhaps he should have been cast as Corporate Invaders. ;)
But in all seriousness, I'm happy for the actor. 90210 being canceled the way it was would have made it difficult for the actors and crew to find jobs for pilot season. Hopefully AnnaLynne McCord is cast in a comedy pilot next.
I feel as though I noticed some high tense power-couples coming back this episode; Dixon and Silver! Last week was Liam and Annie, and by the little scene tonight, I'm guessing Navid and Adrianna! I'm hoping they all tie up eventually in the finale.
As for Mark, I wouldn't be surprised if Silver did sleep with him and then she fell pregnant. Classic 90210 move. Needless to say, MiKayla is pregnant, which means Silver is getting her baby! Good on her!
With only 6 more episodes to go, I'm really hoping that all of these characters dreams shape up the way they hoped. I was hoping for a an extended 2 episodes to help wrap up the show, but I guess Mark Pedowitz isn't as great as he made himself out to be.
Does anyone else think that Joe is actually Emma's father? I might be jumping the gun here, but we've only ever heard about her (promiscuous) mother with no mention of a father. Besides, Emma and Joey could pass as siblings, so that is another factor to consider.
The cancelation really doesn't come as a surprise, but moving it to 9PM only made it much worse. So kind of The CW's fault for not thinking that one through.
I guess I'm only really bothered here seeing as they could have at least extended it by 2-4 more episodes and then aired back-to-back episodes seeing as TCD will be out at April. This way it's giving the writers more time to write and to complete the storylines seeing as they wrote the final script back in late January/early February and have probably started filming it, seeing as filming ends around March.
I just really hope it's enough time to give all of the characters and storylines closure, because if not, I'm going to be pissed!
Airing it after TVD, whilst moving BATB would have been a better move. Would have given this show a chance and a decision as to whether or not the fans would follow BATB IF it were to be renewed for a second season and given a new time slot.
I love Chyler, but this situation is so Katherine Heigl. Leaving your job after 5 years to spend more time with family only to return to work less than a year later? Once again, something is up in Shondaland.
Also, the irony of her new acting job has left me in hysterics.
I give Liam and Annie at least another 3 episodes before anything real comes of it. However, at least you know that Annie's feelings are out there and that with that, Liam is soon bound to follow. He can't help himself when he knows a girl is lusting over him too.
As for everything else this episode, it was up to "meh" standard. These characters still have no idea what they're doing even though they know what they want. Navid is completely out-sided from the group and in regards to that, when was the last time this group ever did something together? I get that adulthood takes a lot of time away from your life, but can't these guys ever do something as a gang? The only thing that has really changed for once in this episode was that no one in the group is actually dating one another anymore. Now THIS is character development.
I can't wait to see how this Jacob and Paul thing goes now with Emma out of the picture. Honestly, I expected her to leave Paul, but Jacob? I guess love only goes to far with her.
This episode was one of the best since Vertigo.
I'm so glad that Felicity is getting heaps of screentime. I'm enjoying the trio that she, Dig and Oliver have, as her personality really does add to the dynamic of all of their characters.
Coltan Hayes has also managed to take up some acting classes, as his portrayal as Roy Harper was really well done. I noticed the sparks between Thea and he.
Was hoping for some more Tommy and Laurel has last week didn't even feature him (as well as this weeks) and Laurel has been sidelined. Hopefully a change for what seems to be a really good episode next week!
