Oh I am sadly aware of that being the plan for season 2. I just felt like there was so much left that wasn't addressed. All the speculation about Marty's daughter, his father in law, the identities of all the 5 horsemen etc.Rust listening to the news report that the FBI had discredited any ties to Senator Tuttle and his family was like a gut shot. Yes they got their guy like Marty said, but there was more to it. While I like the anthology approach, I felt like there was enough left unsolved to continue the story. It was like if The Wire had ended with Avon going to jail while Stringer still ran the business behind the scenes.
Well I guess it's like Rust said. "Everybody judges all the time."
Yeah I hear you and I love me some AHS. I'm just sad there's only 2 more left because unlike AHS the main stars won't be back. But maybe it's better like you said. One season per duo, giving us all they got, then on to two more.
I don't think it's Rust. My initial theory of a grand conspiracy seems to be more and more on target. So pumped to see Hart & Cohle working together again to unfold it. As the case looks to move forward, I'm sure we will still be seeing many flashbacks. We still do not have the full picture of what happened to Rust's daughter. There is the mystery behind Tuttle's overdose. And many other loose ends still to tie up. The video Rust makes Marty watch in the scenes from the next episode have me worried. Could it be his daughter? Beth from the bunny ranch? Or maybe just some gruesome scene. I can't imagine they can wrap this all up in just two more episodes.
Ha I didn't, but that is a great reference and spot by you Chief!
No clue sorry.
Sean great title for the review. @nook I am also worried about Max, but an interview I read with Kevin Bacon saying how this season would be different has me resting easier. He said fans wanted to see Ryan have a few more wins this season instead of everyone close to him dying seemingly each week. I am definitely suspicious of Connie Nielsen's character Lily Gray, but I guess that's the show working. Everyone is a suspect. I was sure Ryan was going to find her gone after leaving her with the FBI agents at the museum charity. @hege I also loved seeing Ryan psychoanalyze Luke on the phone like that. I didn't even recognize Sam Underwood from the final season of Dexter because him playing both twins totally threw me.
Hi Terrie. I did actually, in the first sentence of my review. I thought he did a great job. Such a departure from how he is on B.E. His gesticulations were great.
Did you notice Danny grabbing a little backside booty there too? Was waiting for the air masks to drop from the plane's ceiling that was such a shocking finale.
