  1. Game of Thrones Review: 'Til Lust Do Us Part

Great episode! Darius is sooo handsome! I am glad they picked him... and Dany is so beautiful, she gets more wonderfl every episode. I am pretty sure that Robb Stark will meet an untimely end before too long, even though he has a lot of screen time, they don't really ever make him a character you could like or feel for in any way. Arya is such a little champion!!

It was nice to have a break from the Theon torture scenes, and also a bit less of the wall for once. Did you notice the face in the tree that Sam and Gillie passed - I have a feeling this will definitely be back. Sam is seriously a dope, I don't believe he left the knife there! That original raven... was it the three eyed one?
  2. Revenge Season Finale Round Table: "Truth"

Wow... Its so great they managed to give the Porter brothers some relevance in the final episodes of the show. Jack is actually really manning up.

I think the Graysons are the best characters on the show... more so the parents. For all their evil ways, scheming, lying, and manipulating, you still see the humanity in them. Especially Victoria... she is an amazing character... despite all her evil ways she still manages to make you feel emotionally invested in her character. Can't wait for the next season!!
  3. Game of Thrones Review: Honor Thy Father

I think this is the season of Jaime... he seems to even outshine Tyrion and Tywin this season - not easily accomplished - but the more we learn about each Lannister, the more wonderful they all become as anti-heroes. Its funny because in the books, you are always so solidly behind the Starks, but the depth of the Lannister characters in the HBO series is so well done, you can't help loving them equally!

The Dany scene was amazing... I loved the introduction of Greyworm! Arya was awesome as always... Every character contributes so much in their small amount of screen time - its really impressive!
  4. Game of Thrones Review: Unsullied, Undeterred

Amaaazing episode!!! I have read the books many years ago, and knew the scene with Danaerys was coming, but seeing it played out Visually was breathtaking!!!! She really looked like a Warrior leader when she spoke in High Valyrian and she lead her men out of the enclosure!! My God!!!
You didn't have a chance to mention the story with Theon and... I don't know if we are told who he is yet! This is so terrifying!! Poor Theon, he has done some stupid and evil things but I feel so sorry for him, everything always goes wrong.
I love all the Lannisters and the many shades of their person... Arya is still a little Hero!! Both Sansa and Margaey looked breathtaking this episode!!
  5. Californication Review: All Roads Lead Back Home

This was my favorite season so far! I can't even decide whether I think Hank is better off with Paige or Karen, but it was so nice to see him just really like both of these women, to the point he was confused himself. Generally he just spends his time moping about Karen, using the other women as filler, and not particularly seeing who they are at all. He really truly cared about Faith, he just isn't ready to totally give up on Karen yet, becuase he knows she still loves him. I really loved the Atticus storyline throughout the whole season. I think this last episode had such lovely scenes, where Karen talks to him, 'WHat do you want me to say.' It's very slow, real life, it's beautiful. And Hank lying in the bed with the heart broken Atticus was great. Any season that can have Lou Ashby and Richard Bates one episode after another + an additional atticus is AWESOME!!
  6. Californication Review: Decadence Incarnate

I think Faith is the first female character whose ever been on this show, that has given Karen a genuine run for her money, and you can see it reflected in Karen's totally hostile reactions to Faith. Usually she looks at the other women like they are a passing phase, which they totally are, but with Faith she is very insecure. Not that I still wouldn't turn lesbian for Karen, she is amaaaazing! But Faith has also got something special. It's so nice to see a season of this where Hank is just not rooting everything that moves, and starting to redevelop as a genuine person with some morals and family love, he was becoming more and more despicable in the previous seasons since his arrest. Runcle is awesome, but I really like Stu and Marcy, thought it was a bit weird. I like Runkle with the deceased Rockstar's widow. So enjoying all the rockers this season, bringing it back to the awesomness of the Ashby Season!!!
  7. Revenge Review: The Masque of the Red Death

In fact.... I believe Padma is the hacker!
  8. Revenge Review: The Masque of the Red Death

Its so great to see Jack grew some cojones! He suddenly looks so handsome! The Declan & Charlotte scene was just so totally irrelevent - it seemed as if the writers needed to give them something to do. I think Charlotte was a far more interesting character last season, now she is like an ornament in the Grayson household. Emily looked stunning in that dress... wow! It was sad to see Nolan such a wreck, I miss his wity dry sense of humor - he brings such a human side to this character. I don't think Padma is dead becuase they froze on the body too long, in this way where you know it's not the last time you will see that person... I am loving the Conrad-Daniel-Victoria sparring matches. I think Victoria's storyline was quite moving, you see she has had such a dark past to become the women she is. She is a very layered villain, impossible to hate because she does possess such depth.
  9. Revenge Review: Mommy Dearest

I like the new badass Jack! I can't believe someone as proffessional as Aiden stuffed up that ransom exchange so badly.... lame!

Do you think the actor who plays Declan gets tired of playing someone who goes to High School... I mean between Gossip Girl and Revenge we must be hitting on 7 or 8 years by now??? Is Charlotte's acting getting continually worse - She looked tranquilised in every scene for the past two episodes.
I love Nolan but missing his razor sharp humor, which has been replaced by depressed Nolan!
  10. Girls Review: Sex and the City 2.0

After a day of dramas of all sorts of dramas with my own girls... this episode had me in total tears. I loved that moment where Hannah rung Jessa just really wanting her to be there and she got that snarky voicemail... I have a similar Jessa in my life and really feel like shouting a similar voice message at times. Marnie, looking for her but missing the point was so true to life as well. The Charlie-Marnie thing was kind of lame-cute, but for sure it won't last long anyway. I think Shoshanna-Ray was an ineveitable split... she's so young and she needs to explore life, and find a man on a more similar page. I know the last scene with Adam was very Rom-Com, but it had me in total tears! He is such a man... he just saw her, with no fences or barriers, he always wears his heart on his chest... i loved it. You need some hope and love and dreams.... I really loved this episode so much!
  11. Girls Review: Too Many Freaks, Not Enough Circuses

Jim, haven't you ever heard the expression, "Don't air your dirty laundry in public." This blog is for fans of the show, not for bored people with too many 'tissues', who have a lot of time on their hands and decide to attack a writerprobably writing about ten different reviews, and has another job, and may over look a typo or two... Go out in the sunshine man, have a swim in the ocean and enjoy life!!

    Back to girls....
  12. Girls Review: Relapse

Even though this episode was really hard to watch and had so many painful and awkward moments I think it was really brilliant. It was the most real to life thing I've ever seen capturing those hard moments of my generation. Life is not a glossy hollywood show..... This made me cringe because so many moments are so relatable to things I have seen.

I think the OCD is important but I dont really think it was brought in at an appropriate time, with everything already been so disjointed, and Hannah seems so have just dropped off the face from all her friends, and no-one notices. Adam is just such a brilliant character... I can't see him making it work with such a precise person.
  13. Girls Review: Housewarming

So awesome! Every character was spot on.... there was nothing not too love about this episode!! Elijah is so funny... they manage to be so real... remind me of so many people of my generation... I really dig it!
  14. Revenge Review: An Abuse of Power

I really love the verbal banter between the head Graysons - Conrad & Victoria... in the past season they were filled with so much hatred with each other which was always hilarious. Then they had to team up to survive, but now they seem to tolerate each other with this bemusment. Watching Victoria nag Conrad about answering the phone, who instead picked up his tea, and then she snatched the paper off him, brought everything back to everyday life where couples bicker about silly things... it was nice to see them so light hearted. I hate the Jack/boat/whatever storyline, despite all the hot actors in it. It just seems so completely irrelevant to anything else, and why would professional drug dealers want to make their job so complicated by bringing civilians into their dealings... just doesn't make sense! Love Nolan as ever!
  15. Sons of Anarchy Round Table: Season 5 Finale

Why are people offended by the Dog fighting scene? It was bringing awareness to a really brutal thing that goes on all the time, just doesn't get spoken about. They do the same thing with chooks too. It is a horrible thing. Tig's reaction to it was so beautiful....
  16. Sons of Anarchy Review: It All Comes Around

Great episode!! Tig was so awesome since the scene with the dogs until the very end, he played it beautifully. And though Clay is evil I did manage to feel sorry for him... the look on his face when he realised he was being arrested, and Juice's face too... sad moment. Nero & Gemma together I love! I really don't think Gemma actually dobbed in Tarah, the whole show was setting it up to look like that, but it was too obvious, there's a lot more to the story. Jax has been a bit ruthless but think about it, he chose between Tig and Clay, he has to be this way, in this role... This is Hamlet... it's not a happy story. Beautifully written episode. Ps. the reviewed never mentioned Otto biting off his tongue!! Such an ewghhhhh moment!!
  17. Gossip Girl Review: The Final Chapter

Jenny was such an important character in the first seasons... why didn't they allow Jenny to say something useful at the end?... Lol or anything at all in fact?!... I love how they tried to age Eric with his goatee... and all the other 'business men' of GG look like they are still straight out of High School 5 years on - VFX ppl cmon!! I think Serena has worn better dresses in her average night out... it didn't sit well, and also why on earth did they get married in that strange little living room, it was weird...
I love Georgina, she was still awesome! Dorota is epic, with her vodka! I loved Blair's line, 'I always thought it was Dorota!' I'm glad it was Dan... that was cool. I like Serena & Dan and Chuck and Blair. I liked seeing Nate as a successful businessman at the end, not attached to a manipulative woman... ironic and all but fun!
  18. Gossip Girl Round Table: "It's Really Complicated"

Dan has finally become awesome this season!! He is funny, and real for once instead of making dumb jokes to compensate for his insecurity. He actually has them all genuinely nervous, becuase he has become so unpredicatable, and an actualy adeversary, instead of someone none of them take seriously. I don't think he hates them, that's why he wouldnt move to 'Soho; and start his new life, he is intrinsically tied to all of them.... but he wants to be taken seriously and respected ont heir level. He basically said as much. Gossip Girl is either Dan or Jenny for sure...!!!
  19. Gossip Girl Review: The Best Thanksgiving Ever

The most disturbing part of this episode was the black shirt with roses Rufus humphrey was wearing in his final scene! The most disturbing thing on this season, is that Dan Humphrey has actually become my favorite character! I love his ballsiness, and finally taking control of his life!

Nate and Serena won't ever get back together... It's Dan and Serena for the final, just like the beginning!!
  20. Last Resort Review: The Cruise Missile Warning

Grace, James and Tani are all Australian actors... funny they are the triangle....

It is really a shame it is cancelled so soon... hoping for the new Lost of a sort! I agree their are one too many plots though, and some things are just plain ridiculous... the Island mercenary would have been killed in the beginning when he first shot one of their men... they have gained nothing from letting him live. Its a shame that they didn't put more effort into the overall politics of it, becuase what is happening back home is really interesting and doesnt get enough air time in the hour. I think the Lost formula was awesome to just focus on one or two characters an episode and really get to know them whilst moving the story along... this show is generally a little too all over the place.
  21. Sons of Anarchy Review: Meeting Mr. Mayhem

I think when Clay was leader and Jax was VP in a weird way there was a balance... Jax was there to counter attack Clay, question his moves and motives. Now Jax is the leader and basically no one will challenge him or question him. When Clay used to make an obnoxious request of the woman, Jax would be there to second guess him, challenge him... but, now it's Jax in this role and there is no one to challenge him and any of his decisions... There is no more balance
  22. Sons of Anarchy Review: Meeting Mr. Mayhem

I agree with your whole review this week! It is so sad how Jax is treating his mother, I really like the way she is when she's with Nero..... They cannot take Juice from us so soon after Opie... 2 of the sweetest characters in one season is way too much!

The last 2 episodes have pretty much been the Tarah-Gemma-Jax and Clay show... I am really starting to miss some of the other cast members.., and a bit bored of Tarah's continual grimace... also she is becoming a doormat, she does everything Jax asks her now without question. It's kind of like she's lost any self worth, and she puts what ever he wants above anything she holds dear... career, morals, even the kids (she will forgive Gemma becuase Jax tells her too)
  23. Gossip Girl Review: Back in the Saddle

Dan used to be the most irritating character on the show... now the only thing keeping the show watchable are Georgina and Dan, and all the amauing interactions they have with the other characters. As if any dad would let his 17 yr old daughter date Nate, and as if any girl could just keep being with a guy who she found out slept with her mum...
Blair and Chuck were ok, until tonight, but this scheme was just plain bizarre...
At least Rufus is predictably Rufus, and Lily predicatably Lily. Bart is just a real jerk - I can't believe a father could treat his son with so much hate, and total misunderstanding.
I look forward to the return of lil J and Erik for some old school moments...
  24. New Girl Review: Relationships are Scary

As someone in the exact same age bracket, and life stage, I not only found this episode super funny, but also so totally relevant... All those stages. of various relationships were handled really well and totally relatable. I think every girl has being in Jess's shoes when she had tears in her eyes and he asked if he should leave - she is so totally relatable as a character. Great episode!
  25. Revenge Review: Forgive and Never Forget

Nolan looked so suave tonight! He is so wonderful. And Emily seems to look more beautiful each week... fauxmanda was glowing too! I wonder what the man trying to by Jack's bar is after... It does seem weird that mother doesn't recognise daughter... they are alot more similar looking then fauxManda. I can't wait for the scene where Mason gets properly taken down! Going to be awesome! A bit of a tumble to Ashley wouldn't hurt either...

I LOVE every scene with Victoria and Conrad, they have this razor sharp wit, and this awesome chemistry... they are so fun to watch!
