So if Dan hooks up with Blair, where will Vanessa go? I know a lot of people want her to die, but she's not going to. She'll either be in the midst of Dan and Blair or serve as an obstacle to NS OR even better hook up with Chuck again.
The fact that Blair says she loves Chuck too much and wants a simple love could indicate her actually settling for a love that's not really of the passionate variety. A lot of people do it. They settle because they don't want any drama. I don't think Blair is that kind of person. Sure, she could hook up with Dan and make her want that for a few episodes, only to realize the relationship lacks the passion she craves. That could happen. CB is endgame and DB would be just another obstacle, but do we really want to see THE ENTIRE CAST hook up with each other. Once you get rid of DB, then you only have Chuck and Serena. They're not blood relatives and Chuck was attracted to her at some pt. Do you think the writers won't go there, too, for the sake of the good OMFG?
Heck, how much more OMFG can you get that an episode ending with them making out or in bed together.
I don't DB to hook up. I like the frenemy banter b/n them and it would die if they bumped uglies. I could take a Rachel/Joey fling for them that ends when they try to go the extra step. That could be funny, but a full blown sexual relationship? No, thank you.
Ed and Leighton carry the show. Sorry, but I don't see people being interested in DB UNLESS CHUCK BASS were involved in it in some way. I think people are tired of seeing his character get butchered week after week. Dead dad, evil uncle, faux mom, real mom, faux mom again, evil uncle...enough! I'd rather he give up his money and wear jeans for the remainder of the series at this pt.
I don't necessarily believe the dates, considering they were on wikipedia a few days ago. Plus, it's been made clear that we're getting a X-mas Carol type episode. It would make little to no sense to have that after Christmas. Plus, show don't usually come back that early on in the year, even if it's the CW. \
So you're telling me the Christmas episode, 3.12 called THE DEBARTED will air AFTER CHRISTMAS? That doesn't make any sense. I was under the impression that 3.12 would be the last episode before the break. It would make the most sense, considering it's THE CHRISTMAS EPISODE with the X-mas Carol theme, per Ausiello.

I agree with Plotting in Pastel. The spoiler sources have a general idea of what's going on but not everything. Savage mentioned that CB would be together the whole season and that Chuck would be a constant fixture by Blair's side. Ausiello doesn't know what will happen beyond Ep. 11. They're currently filming either 10 or 11 right now (I think it's 10), so there's no way for him or anyone to really know what will happen in Episode 15 or 17. All we know at this pt is that Jack Bass will return possibly in 15 or 16 and we know he'll create trouble for Chuck. We just don't know what kind.
No need to worry. Plus, seriously the ratings aren't that great right now. Ending CB for good would be stupid. I can see a big fight here and there and maybe mini break ups but nothing lasting. The gay kiss is supposed to put a major kink in their relationship because Blair takes Chuck for a fool basically but they overcome it. I think we'll see a lot of that in the 2nd half...major kinks overcome. The Jack Bass thing will be interesting. I'm scared of his return yet excited to see what he'll be up to.
This is why the CW needs to stop making Chuck look like an a-hole. THe season should be about CB having sex constantly...show that! It'll get you viewers. Making it look like Chuck is cheating on Blair will only piss people off, especially if it's not even the case. I hope we get more.

I realize that CB will prob break up once this season. I really don't want it to be because Blair falls for Dan. I could see a brief drunken kiss or one night fling that they try to hide from everybody but CHuck finds out about but I don't see Blair being head over heels for Dan. They're too different and it would shake up the show in a not too positive way. I love snarky DB but romantic DB would take away from what makes them appealing. ANd if you pair Dan with Blair, then what do you have left in terms of hookups? Who would you pair Serena with? And Chuck?
She def didn't end it all snarky like she usually does. I was expecting her to say something like LET'S SEE HOW LONG THIS LASTS but she didn't. She seemed to be just as happy as we were. I wouldn't be surprised if GG was someone who wanted CB to happen.
I've looked at other threads and recaps and they all have the same fears...that the writers will manage to eff up CB. I'm trying to remain hopeful that CB will be like Seth and Summer in the OC. If the writers want inconsistent love connections, give them to Serena and Dan and the rest of them, but seriously give us one stable couple and make it CB which is by far the most popular one.
If NB are so epic, like some people say on other threads, then why do the writers insist on milking CB and showing them in promos? I think it's obvious who they think are truly endgame.
I read this earlier on another site...the person who wrote didn't sound like she/he had much of a clue about the show...there's an implication that they'll create trouble for Blair and judging from the various spoilers, we know Chuck is actually in love with Blair. Plus, the actress mentioned something about her and Dan. I'm thinking Dan and G will hook up. I see no other reason for him not to want to be with Serena again.
Honestly, I think this has to do with Nate, not Blair. Jessica didn't elaborate...just said Vanessa is upset but that she'll be ok because what comes around goes around. Nate's the one dumping her for another chick.

I don't remember many CHAIR pictures before either...maybe just one, so it's really nothing to be concerned with. I just think they reserve a majority of their scenes for the studio.
