TVD is not good at villains, they are almost always giving them back stories that take them out of the villain role. To me the Gemini coven are the truly evil ones, thus making Kai the hero for wanting to eliminate them. The Mystic Falls gang has become friends with 3 of them, and are OK with the merge ceremony? Instead they should be joining Kai and going after the leaders of this coven that see nothing wrong with this practice. But, this is the same stupid gang that awoke Silas for a stupid cure that in the end none of them wanted anyway. The only hero of that season was Kol and he was killed for it, and TVD will again kill at least one of the Geminis that we know instead of the real evil ones.

After 2 awful seasons of TVD, Kai has made this season watchable again. He belongs on the best villain list no where near this list.

Damon said in this episode that it was Lucy's blood that he got for the spell that sent them back to 1994. They needed Bennett blood and she is the only one that we know of at this time.

Really!! You send checks to CW? They must really be big ones if you expect them to ignore the numbers. It is actually the advertisers that pay for these shows (commercial TV). The lower the numbers the less they pay. If the money is less than the network pays to make the show, why would they keep it on?

Sorry, but these past 2 episodes have proven that I've already turned off my humanity to this show. I felt more emotion from the 5 minute Flash preview of today than I have for these past 2 shows of TVD. With the Originals I felt every emotion that they tried to get out of us in the finale. There have just been to many deaths and fake outs on this show for me to care any more. There is no point in me watching a show I no longer care about one way or the other.

The only original anybody wanted back is Kol, and the only one not back is Kol.

They may just be stories! What is the point of watching them if this is the only trick up the writers sleeves?

That is exactly what I was worried about, and expected when I first heard about it going to 22 episodes.

Don't you mean episode 17, I do not see a season 17 happening.

It's actually a mysterious hybrid attack on The Originals, since Marcel said there was no full moon.
