It's actually a mysterious hybrid attack on The Originals, since Marcel said there was no full moon.
He did say renew Agents of Shield!
Esther never said she created the doppelgänger. The wording was that she used the doppelgänger's blood for the curses. Meaning that she was a doppelgänger (somehow Esther knew this). Tatia was NEVER human always a doppelgänger. Amara and Silas are not doppelgängers, those that have come after them are the doppelgängers. We the fans are the ones that made the mistake of calling Tatia the first doppelgänger. The "Original" witch name was only given to Esther because she was the witch of the "Original" family, not in meaning she was the first witch.
Thank you! Someone actually watched the show, and was able to follow along.
Now with the double doppelganger storyline we can all make fairly good guesses as to where the story will go from here. Tatia, Katherine and Elena are all doppelgangers of the girl that Silas loved. She will also turn out to be Qetsiyah's sister. Qetsiyah put the doppelganger curse on them. Silas' doppelganger would forever be in a love triangle with his brother and the female doppelganger, and she would forever be between 2 brothers. These two doppelgangers would always be epic loves that could never end up together. We will learn that Katherine always knew Stefan was a doppelganger because the father of her baby was a Silas doppelganger. So in the end for Elena to end up with Stefan they will need to break the doppelganger curse and defeat Qetsiyah, or they will fail and Elena ends up with Damon and the cycle will continue.
This season however we knew where we were ending up long before getting there (big deal we didn't know Stefan was Silas' doppelganger). That reveal has probably given us the series finale ending 1 or 2 seasons too soon. Yes, in season 2 we knew long before he arrived that Klaus was coming. In that season our hero protectors of Mystic Falls were doing everything to try to prevent it, unlike this season were we could see them making all the wrong choices. Having our heroes be anti-heroes made for a very long and bad season. How on earth was Kol the only hero of this season??? And as a reward he got killed off, a very unfulfilling season.
"The slaughter of innocents by the so called hero protectors of Mystic Falls. They risked unleashing hell on earth for their own selfish gains." Kol was completely correct about the problem with season 4, we also knew way to early that they would awaken Silas. The path these characters choose was anything but heroic, and we as an audience could see every wrong move they made as they were making them. Seasons 1 and 2 were great, 3 was OK, but 4 was awful. In season 1 first Katherine was dead, then she was in the tomb, then she wasn't in the tomb. The consequence of trying to free her was setting the big bad tomb vampires free. We had no clue where we were going until we got there. In season 2 we had the "Sun and Moon" curse morph into the hybrid curse on Klaus. Klaus wasn't just the oldest baddest vampire, but a werewolf hybrid, again we had no clue until we got there.
Arrow will be on at 8, The Tomorrow People will be at 9.
Stefan and Caroline can die with the rest of TVD in Mystic Falls!!! Never set foot in New Orleans.
Jeremy is dead because Elena had a plan. Killing the only vampire that was making any sense (and 1000's of innocent vampires) was a brilliant plan. All for a cure that was made 1000 years before the original witch had a brilliant plan. As if that cure would actually work on a future witch's spell??? Do these vampires have brains?? Why would Silas suffer the hunter's curse? He is not a vampire, he is an immortal from 1000 years before the originals. A totally different spell by a Bennett ancestor, not a Mikealson wannabe.
