Diving into the shallow end (yet again):
What's with all of the fishery nomenclature in TM 2.0? First Fischer, then Pike. With luck, F will reel in P so he won't be around to pester our lovely L.
Apologies if this has been brought up before. I haven't read all of the comments. Which are likely way deeper than mine.
I hear you. Ever the optimist, even I am feeling more than a bit disheartened by the prospect of 5 episodes of alternate love interest for Lisbon.
At this point I admit I don't quite get the master plan of Bruno et al. that requires Lisbon to find herself through the attentions of an attractive suitor who is not Jane. If you accept it as necessary, didn't she have 2 years to do this? Maybe there were no worthy guys in Podunk WA.
I am hoping for a Mancini repeat: lots of smoke (spoiler), no real fire and a fizzle out after an episode or 2.
Yet another road block is irritating at this late stage in the game. This from an ardent and interested fan.
On a positive and conciliatory note, jealous Jane is amusing to watch.

Except that Airstreams have always been super cool (I remember my dad coveting them on camping trips) and they are perfect for Jane: retro and chic. Kind of a Citroen substitute.
Or product placement. Probably that. 😉

I know nothing of him either but the photos give me the impression he will be about as different from Jane as a human male can be: earnest, orthodox and good boy FBI straight shooter. Who, once she takes him for a test drive, will send Lisbon running back to her far more charming, interesting, infuriating partner. Unique will trump bland. My opinion 😉
hehe -- too right!
I agree. And I'll check out tumblr. Haven't been there in a while. It's always fun :)
Hey what about Tommy Volker on a vengequest? Volker obviously would be ticked at everyone at the CBI and might include a blackmailed Ardiles as someone to blame for his downfall. Or someone connected to Visualize or one of the other Malibu blast victims who thinks Jane and the CBI are responsible for his death? Harder to connect Ardiles to that though?
And if one of the reasons Jane made keeping Lisbon close on his return a prerequisite was because he was aware of some danger, maybe that's also one of the reasons Jane was asking if anyone was looking for him every day at the post office on the island.
Hmmm. The darkness of the Ardiles reveal in San Francisco was chilling. I kind of like its return. And methinks it will have to draw our dynamic duo even closer in episodes to come. Partners protect each other after all. Added benefit: this will be something else Jane, Lisbon and Cho have in common moving forward. Setting them apart from Fischer and the FBI. If you know what I mean.
I am a bit worried for Grace and Wayne however....
I'm looking forward to seeing the Airstream and hoping that happens next episode...despite the long delay. It is definitely the new aerie. Which is a good thing, because as comfy as the new couch looks, it is in a cold fishbowl of an office. Not a cozy spot like at the CBI. Sigh.
Always coveted an Airstream. It'll be a good Citroen substitute too. Retro and cool.
Question: Are they actually filming in Texas?? Are they not filming on sets and locations in CA that are chosen to look like Texas and the other places in which each case of the week is supposed to take place?
That said, the look they've created is much more sterile and bleak. Overall, I prefer the CBI/CA look and vibe. Still loving TM 2.0 though. My opinion.
