  1. New ABC Drama Trailers: Watch Now!

    Shield looks great.

OUATiW on other hand looks REALLY inspired by Alice:Madness returns, both in premise and in cinematography. Of course I doubt it will be as dark as Madness Returns was, sadly.
  2. Arrow Season Finale Review: "Sacrifice"

Det. Lance was only suspended and after they realized that he was telling the truth and then even rescued part of the Glades that shouldn't be an issue eather.

The problem is not whether he was telling the truth. he was suspended due to ties to vigilante.
  3. Arrow Season Finale Review: "Sacrifice"

how is this brilliant brilliant show even real?
How is such a brilliant show on CW - a channel that does NOT air such brilliant shows?

This was hands down best season finale of any show in last 5 years. SO MUCH HAPPENED.

NEVER. EVER. expected them to kill off Tommy. Never ever expected Malcolm to succeed, but it felt very Watchmen-y.

I guess now we know what at least partially will push Laurel towards her comic-book fate as Black Canary. A man-made town-destroying earthquake can do that.
  4. Revenge Review: And The Truth Shall Set You Free

he is her new takeda now
Sorry but HELL TO THE NO TO THIS.

Takeda was threatening, methodical kung-fu master type of guy.
Aiden is controlling obsessive gary stu, who whines about revenge being bad and tries to make decisions FOR Ems, while show unendingly glorifies everything he ever does.
  5. Revenge Review: And The Truth Shall Set You Free

I hope to gods that Aiden is dead.

Of course knowing this show and its tendencies to glorify Aiden for no reason(“oh Aiden sacrificed so much trying to control your life, Emily, you should only tell him the truth~”), the damn Gary Stu most likely escaped after being shot in the heart and then performed a heart-surgery on himself to save himself.
  6. Revenge Review: Rules of Engagement

MINDBLOWING. But i dont understand what a city blackout has to do with anything? Or im just kind of lost? Someone explain please? lol

It has been explained over last half the season.

Its because of Nolan's virus, Carrion, which they handed over to Initiative. Falcon most likely made it so that transferring funds would trigger it.
  7. Revenge Review: Rules of Engagement

Last week everyone said Aiden would die...but I knew better...he has to stay around to protect Emily

Well I am sorry but Ems does not NEED any protection.

If anything, everyone else should get protection from Ems.

And implying that there HAS to be a man to protect her is just...disgustingly sexist. But then gain everything about Aiden's plotline this season has been disgustingly sexist.
  8. Revenge Review: Rules of Engagement

I hope it is Aiden that dies in the finale because you actually expect me to believe that he could have taken out Takeda all by himself. When Emily finds out then I hoped she gives him a nice good beat down.
    THIS^

The best outcome would be on if Emily killed Aiden herself, since it not only would get rid us of Mr.MarySue , but also would push Ems into more dangerous and exciting depths of revenge.

When I start liking Jack storyline he had to go to Victoria as a stupid idiot.
Actually I thought it was quite clever. Jack did pretty much similar thing that Ems did - play two Graysons against each other.
  9. Revenge Review: Rules of Engagement

Gary Stu Aiden Mathews - ruining interesting plots one at the time.

Anyone else rooted for Takeda and was disappointed Aiden did NOT die? Well, congrats show for killing off a perfectly interesting villain in order to keep having a plot distraction alive.

And not mentioning the obviously possessive behavior towards Emily, which led towards taking away at least half her awesomeness and badassery, he is trying to keep Emily from her Revenge a.k.a THE MAIN interesting part of the show?Thank you but no thank you.

The only way for Revenge to return to its former glory is for Aiden to die.

I sure hope that Emily will make him pay for this betrayal.
  10. Once Upon a Time Review: Killing Magic

Regina makes me said. This flashback confirmed that it only takes someone to love her back to make her actually want redemption FOR redemption. Sadly Snow and Regina, despite being pretty much identical people, have far different views of morality to give that to each other. I am guessing it will take Regina loosing power and Snow going evil(which I guess will be season finale cliffhanger) for them to start understanding each other and actually rebuilding their family.
  11. Defiance Review: New Beginnings

Defiance premiere was some of the BEST stuff syfy has ever done since Caprica. That's pretty much all I can say, apart from the fact that it has a very clear farscape vibe.

While start dragged on a bit, the middle part was very well written to the point that when when the giant ass battle at the end of pilot episode starts, all you can think is “HOLY SHIT THIS IS AWESOME”.
  12. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "Selfless, Brave, and True"

I don't get this "argument", really. Quite a few fans argue this way - that someone somewhere confirmed it wasn't a normal taser. I DON'T CARE if a writer announced this on Twitter. IT HAS TO MAKE SENSE WITHIN THE STORY and for this episode it just didn't!!

The very fact that "Taser" worked on a wooden creature and killed a magical creature already points on it NOT being just a taser.
  13. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "Selfless, Brave, and True"

Will David's plan to return to the Enchanted Forest fix things for Snow?
    Nope.

David is honorable and action-y but he is also very naive. he is grasping at the illusion that "going back" will solve all their problems and they will live happily ever after in the castle, but that's not the case.

The opposing point of views between Snow and Charming have been foreshadowed through entirety of this season and with Snow going off the rails, she'll have a whole lot more to say about that.
  14. TV Fanatic Round Table: Spinoff Showdown!

Also don't really see the reason for a pll spin off anyway. *
  15. TV Fanatic Round Table: Spinoff Showdown!

Frankly, neither. I'll rather wait for OUAT:Wonderland when it airs. That's the only spin off show that interests me now.

PLL has been very shaky this season. Scratch that. Nigh unbearable. I have been wishing them to just get to the point at the start of the season already and it only got worse. Also don't really

And TVD's spin off. All I will say is LOL. Well at least them splitting the audience will most likely kill both the spin off and the parent show and few years after someone competent will re-adapt the books without Julie Plec's involvement, rape apologism, misogyny, sexism and useless caring messiah bella swan lead character.
  16. Once Upon a Time Review: Is Redemption Out of Reach?

While I did not care much for August and Tamara plotlines(because meh, so far, at least August got closure and Emma love geometry did not get another point), I LOVED Snow's character development in this episode.

Its quite clear that by the end of episode Snow has lost hope about redemption or is unwilling to pay the price for it.

This whole epsiode was reminiscent of Regina in flashbacks at the start of season, down to Snow slapping marco paralleling Regina's daydream of strangling young Snow. Add to that foreshadowing with the song Snow chose for her anger-session, her reactions through the episode and the title of 2x20 and it seems clear that Snow will go off the rails completely by that episode.
  17. Once Upon a Time Sneak Peeks: Expecting a Visitor

Its great to see them exploring the psychological aspects of Snow making the choice she did with Cora, making a moral compromise.

Moral barriers is something that have been keeping her in line her entire line and that has been breached with what she chose to do. She has spent her life in control and now she no longer has that control, hence impulsive actions slipping out.

and at the same time she is completely in denial of what she is capable of since it goes against who she believed she was.
  18. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "Welcome to Storybrooke"

Has Cora's death made things better or worse in Storybrooke?
Neither. it CHANGED things in storybrooke, but its far too complex to say whether this "avalanche effect" is for better or for worse.
Did Henry have the right idea about destroying magic?
Magic is the "easy way out" - a shortcut to power. And power corrupts. I don't think destroying magic would solve everything though. Magic is just another form of power, another temptation in life
Which missing or dead character would you like to see return to Storybrooke? Graham, Cora, August, anyone I've missed.
Would like Cinderella or Kathryn to be back in some way, if only to get some closure to their stories.
  19. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "Welcome to Storybrooke"

    What was your favorite scene?
The last Snow/Regina scene tied with last Snow/Rumple scene.
Is Regina correct? Will Snow's heart continue to blacken?
I am thinking that yes. There are way too many parallels between Snow and Regina(as well as Snow and Rumple) for it to not happen. She WILL get redeemed in the end, of course, but before that I expect her go off the deep end far more.
Any ideas on what Regina did with Kurt?
Hospital Basement. Or Henry's videogame(because of his surname).
  20. Once Upon a Time Review: The Blackened Heart

As for Snow: what happened to our badass girl? Seriously, it was either kill Cora or let her be the Dark One. She was brave and saved her family from being murdered by Cora, which was going to happen no matter what. Have people forgotten that?

The thing is - its not about Cora being killed. Its about HOW AND WHY Snow did it that is eating her up - Snow did it for revenge, out of revenge(she was shown not caring whether Rumple lives or dies so its not killing to save Rumple too), and in most likely darkest way possible.
  21. Once Upon a Time Review: The Blackened Heart

But what the heck was up with Regina talking to his heart? Are those things like glowing walkie talkies?
That's the "control" aspect. Cora did the same with Aurora's heart.
  22. Once Upon a Time Review: The Blackened Heart

On other hand - the parallels are fascinating.

Snow is going through what Both Rumple and Regina did - crisis of conscience - remorse.

But Remorse does not always lead to redemption(like it did in Archie's case). remorse can be self-destructive force, fueling one's hatred as well as one's darkest qualities. What's worse, GETTING OVER IT can be even worse - because then the very act you felt guilty about seems smaller and smaller, and more and more justified(just like gold emphasized)

I loved everything else in this episode but all the stuff about snow in this is just so damn fascinating.
  23. Once Upon a Time Review: The Blackened Heart

Ohhh, Regina will regret letting MM/Snow live. She is making same mistake Cora did - underestimate what Snow is capable of.

Regina is biased, she always thought of Snow as "evil", so in a way she is incapable of comprehending what "evil snow" means to her, apart from "victory".

Cora already paid the price for underestimating Snow and now its Regina's time - her "moral victory" against Snow White will be Regina's undoing.
  24. Once Upon a Time Round Table: "The Miller's Daughter"

What was your favorite scene from the episode?
Snow manipulating Regina, hands down. Sent chills through my bones.
    Did Snow's actions surprise you?
I was expecting it(considering all Regina/Snow parallels through this season), but did not expect her to go THIS DARK. I fully expect her to become the next Dark One at some point in the show now.
Could Cora have been saved by having her heart?
I am sure that yes. If this was the old Snow White, Cora would be alive and happy with her daughter. But the New Snow chose revenge over that which I am happy with.
Will anything be able to convince Regina not to seek vengeance?
100% sure Henry is the key to that.
Most surprising revelation: That Cora and Rumple were in love or that Snow manipulated Regina to kill Cora?
The latter. Never, ever, ever, EVER expected the magnitude and deviousness with which Snow executed her plan.
  25. Once Upon a Time Review: Love Could Have Been Enough

I think with the intention of "protecting her family", she paved the way to her own hell. What's that age-old addage? "Sometimes the hardest thing, and the right thing, are the same thing."

THIS SO MUCH. Especially since we see an intentional parallel of Cora doing EXACTLY THE SAME when convincing Regina
