@Shannon - Bennett mentioned to Walt how much fun his roommate "Stanford" was and how they'd have the best time with him that summer. The writers said that someone from Sex and the City would get their first mention, turned out to be Stanford!
I personally thought it would be Samantha because of the first Carrie Diaries book.
I agree with some of the posters that certain storylines went stale or just weren't that intriguing this season. I will however say that I think this cast is so phenomenal. The acting on this show, whether the storyline sucks or is exciting, is great.
@Rachel - maybe you didn't watch the episode but that line about "Riri" was said by Jake. Next time you jump down someone's throat and assume they know nothing about domestic violence remember that I am a complete stranger and you know absolutely nothing about my life.
Part of me (the inner middle schooler) still wants "I Want It That Way" to be my wedding song. I have a feeling that the backstreet/nsync mashup is going to get a LOT of play on my ipod- like the amount the original CDs got. That shit had me feeling like a giddy teenager all over again!
Oh also, I ran into Lena Dunham at Barneys and she said I could stay with her. BOOM. Santana is on fire.
Jim- why don't you private message me if you want to discuss my writing further. The comments are for people who want to discuss the show and the episode so let's leave it be.
5 stars. Obsessed. Probably my favorite episode of New Girl. Seriously they do need to market True American or at least release the rules! I'm not going to lie, I choked from laughing so hard when Schmidt fainted. I don't know why but I lost it.
And then that kiss. That was like hall of fame- Ross and Rachel's first kiss in the doorway at Central Perk while it was raining type of kiss.
@Buck thank you! You'd think I wouldn't get so shocked anymore, but these writers are so brilliant with William H Macy's character that I'm still finding my jaw on the floor from week after week! The rest of the Gallaghers I'm used to and have come to appreciate their madness. Like Debbie with pillowcase of soap bars last week? Crazy but awesome.
@Tinkelbell90 Thank you! I just read the interview with Stephanie Savage where she answers every question. Dan was almost revealed as GG in the pilot so they had to do some editing. Also J for Waldorf on the bag was real.
For the person who "weeps for humanity" because all of us liked the ending- get a grip it's a television show. We take it for what it is and look for the good. Get over the negativity.
Okay I'm SO glad other people noticed the "J Waldorf" bag because I thought I hallucinated. Also Episode 12 was the "School Lies" episode, what was the clue about Dan?
Love love lovedddd it, seriously this is becoming one of my new favorite shows! Aside from my massive crush on Chris Messina, the whole cast is great, Morgan is effing hilarious and I have a new appreciation for Mindy Kaling's brilliance. It was kind of hard to see Ellie Kemper as the villain because you know they are actually close in real life but that was an awesome crazy bitch fight. Those two could show the Real Housewives how it's done!
holy crap, I never realized Tancy was in Magic Mike!!!! Probably because I wasn't looking at the girls in the movie, oops :)
Great episode tonight, got emotional with Earl and Wade at the church, love pairings right now. I used to be into Zoe and George but agree that Wade and Zoe are so ON right now! All of these characters have evolved and that's what makes the new relationships and storylines work. LOVE this show!
