The only problem with the "Out with Lana Lang and in with Lois Lane" comment is that although they are using her middle name and not her first name, Laurel Lance is Oliver Queens Lois Lane. Dinah Lance aka the Black Canary.
continued.... You have to remember, they both have the issues and reasons and although their actions are irrevocable and unforgivable, I'm sure abc can use those issues and reasons to help restore our faith in at least Emmett!
I actually did feel a bit of pity for Simone, yes her actions are unforgivable, but I do not believe she did it to 'get back' at Toby or Bay or Daphne. She was in a vulnerable place herself, having her boyfriend ignore her, her apology rejected, accused of sore sportsmanship and then giving away the penalty that resulted in her team losing. Pretty much a bad day. Ok yes, parts of this was her fault but at 16/17, I can imagine her being pretty upset. Plus, she can probably now presume she is single so technically, only Emmett was the one who had serious ties to hurt people. Especially as he knew Bay loves him and must have known her hatred of Simone. He even was shocked at Simone's apology to Daphne, not believing it to be genuine. All in all, both were looking for an escape from their lives and to blame one more than the other is wrong.
I wondered when they would get into the fact that Wilkie hasn't learned to sign. Bay learnt for Emmett and although he couldn't communicate with Bay like Daphne can with Wilkie, Bay learnt because she cared about him and wanted to be with him.
Emmett does need to learn to get over the Ty thing. Bay said she loved him and he her so as that happened like only recently, they should be focusing on that surely.
Travis is obviously a love interest for Daphne and tbh, if Wilkie doesn't learn sign language then I think Travis is the better option! He just obviously wants his family to learn ASL and as they wont, he puts that on other situations similar to it.
Overall, good episode and look forward to next week's installment!
I don't understand why people are complaining that Zoe and Wade haven't got together yet? No way would they get together this early on in the series. When has the heroine ever dated the 'correct' or obvious character in a series straight away? Bones, Moonlighting, Veronica Mars, Smallville/New Adventures of Superman, Buffy, The OC to name but a few have the main characters take years to eventually chose the right one and when they do, they quite often put obstacles making them break up. Nobody wants a moonlighting curse. Zoe needs to get her feelings for George out of the way before she can look at Wade, plus she put herself out there for Wade and he rejected her most coldly so who can blame her for putting him to the side at the moment? Great episode and one of my favourite shows at the moment.
They were only given the summer episodes originally. Then they got it extended by 5 episodes so had to write, film and edit it and wouldn't have had time to stick it on the end of the summer. So made it a Winter one instead. If next year they do the same then I don't know why but that's the reason for now!
Why would you read a REVIEW of a program you haven't watch yet and be shocked when it reveals the ending... story-line, plot and characters come into a review, all leading to reveals of the program.
Although they did jump the gun last season with the ending, I feel that this opener was the best we could hope for. It laid to rest ideas that B/B would lose chemistry and the team dynamic would fail due to the coupledom of the two. I had resigned myself to a Moonlighting curse after the end of last season but I'm glad that doesn't seem to be the case. Yes I feel we shouldn't be this far ahead but then again, with the end we had this is probably the best start we could of had!
Maybe the throwing up on the dress was just luck? Perhaps all kate planned to do was make Hannah drunk so that she would show herself and her father up at the dinner. Yes leaving the dress around a drunk Hannah could signify she wanted her to damage it in someway but in general, I'm sure Hannah's father would have been angry at just the fact she was drunk!
Maura has THE worst luck in men! One was a murderer, one had a face licking fetish, one was an obnoxious Doctor, one fancied Jane instead and now her new one looks dodgy too!
This episode definitely had the laugh out loud moments of the seasons so far! I want to lick your face and Maura's disgust along with the LLBFF have got to be the best fun moments of Rizzoli and Isles! I liked how we saw a little bit of Frost this episode. Obviously Frankie's life gets dealt with as part of Jane's and we know bits of Korsack from his love of dogs etc but Frost has never really been mentioned outside of the job and it was nice to see it in this episode.
Great episode and I'm wishing away the weeks for Rizzoli and Isles to be on!
