Webber can't die... If he does I will probably stop watching. Also, Christina and Hunt should have broken up a season ago. They were never truly right for each other. The whole Calzona thing is annoying, why cant any couple on this show remain happy for more than a season? Yay for Jo and Alex! And I vote NO on April/Jackson. He is way too good for her.
Wow... I just can't believe it's over. I started watching this show in the 7th grade, and now I am graduating high school. This was the first "real" tv show I watched. I LOVED this finale. Somehow Dan as GG makes sense and I think it was the best chose. I could've done with half an hour more for expanding the wedding and the 5 years later part. The interviews were interesting, but not worth an hour of time. In the end, I got nearly everything I had hoped for since season 1: Chair and Derena. I never really cared about who Nate would end up with because he never really loved anyone. I'm glad they left his love life undecided. I wish the Jenny and Eric cameos were longer!! Nonetheless, it was a great ending to the best show ever. I'll miss you Gossip Girl!
Honestly GG died after season 2 and they probably should have ended it there. However, I loved this episode because it brought the return if derena. I don't care about everything that's happened because seasons 3-5 were boring and irrelevant anyways. I loved the focus on core characters (no sage!) and season 1 memories. If GG continues like this then it will go out with a bang.
I actually enjoyed this episode! It gives me hope for derena and chair!! Also Georgina was fabulous as always. The prospect of never seeing sage and Steven again is the beat feeling ever :)
Nate should have hit Dan. What he did was horrible. I can barely stand him at this point. I miss the old, loveable Dan. Sure he went through some hardships, but so did everyone else. Deal with it and move on. As for Sage... she has got to go. I thought this season was going to focus on the core characters??? So far I don't see that. Thumbs down for me because I expected so much more.
I didn't think it was good at all. I felt nothing when Lexie died because I was expecting it. It would have been WAY more dramatic if they fought to save her. In general the episode was slightly boring. The whole plane thing is so unrealistic and hard to believe that I didn't even try. I feel like it was just an excuse to find a way to solve some tricky problems like keeping some actors and losing others. It was annoying watching them walk aimlessly in a forest trying to save themselves. This is Grey's Anatomy, not survivor. What happened to all of the surgeries? I feel like GA is losing it's roots. Go back to the wonderful mix of medicine and drama and it'll be MUCH better. The only great thing about the episode was Ben and Baily! Love that couple!!!!! I hope April leaves soon. I can't handle her and Avery together any longer... April is annoying and Avery is wonderful, not a good match at all.
This episode better end with a happy ending for Chair because I seriously can't take any more back and forth. Stick with one couple for the shortened season 6 and tackle other issues that don't have to deal with who Blair will end up with. I think that next season should be about finding out who GG is that way everyone can be together like old times. I have a bad feeling that the episode is going to end on another stupid cliffhanger.... ugh.
If this is going to be a shortened season then it better be a fantastic 11 episodes. I also want a proper ending where we get to see how the characters will spend the rest of their lives without speculation. A chair wedding would be a dream come true :) Oh well I'm glad we at least get something. I will seriously miss this show when it is over, but if they're going to continue to make it so bad then it might as well end before it can get any worse.
Why can't Kepner just die? No one likes or cares about her... She's got nothing now so she might as well be killed. All of the other characters are so much better!!! I actually really don't want Lexie back with Mark. He could be her father, it's a little creepy. I understand that Merideth and Derek have a similar age difference, but for some reason Sloan and Lexie just look wayyyy too far apart. It's a little offputting for me, and I don't really know why.
If a chair and derena reunion happen then I will be the happiest GG fan. I've been waiting for this since season 3. I tried to give dair a Chance, but honestly Blair has more chemistry with a wall than Dan. She just looks bored and fake around him all the time. Serena pretending to be Blair had WAY more chemistry than Dair ever had. I think it's Georgina that posted the diary, why else would she be returning?
@GG I agree with you 100%! Chair and Derena made seasons 1 and 2 the best ever! Also there weren't nearly as many annoying guest stars (*Cough* Ivy *Cough) to ruin the plotlines either. Those were the days...
Derena! Yay... so much better than Dair. Serenate was boring back when they attempted it in season 3. Seasons 1 and 2 were the best: Chair and Derena!!
I don't understand why B is still with Dan. She doesn't love him the way she should at this point, and he doesn't trust her. So what is the point. Serena obviously still likes Dan so Dair should just part as friends. It would be better for everybody.
Is it just me or have the last few episodes all followed the same pattern? Dan and Blair have their own storyline separate from everyone else and they run into some kind of roadblock. By the end, they fix it and move on. Meanwhile Serena is as depressed as ever and her family is messed up. Nate is just there, and Chuck seems to be just there as well. What is going on????? I really hope that Blair finally being involved in a sl that doesn't have to do with solely Dan will make for a good episode.
I'm sorry, but I can't see Dair as a good couple. Blair and Dan are soooooo boring together. When Blair is with Dan she acts so whiny and fake. Is it just me who noticed how high pitched her voice was last episode? All she cares about is her stupid party when Chuck just found out who his mom was, really? As for Dan, he has lost his personality. I used to really like him, now he is just turning into Rufus. Dair lacks spark, they may be all nice and kind to one another, but there is no chemistry, and it just feels awkward. Plus it was nice having one pairing that didn't have sex. The only ones left now are Serena and Chuck. I am counting down the weeks until they break up :)
This was probably the best episode in recent memory. I really enjoyed almost all of the story lines. Serena is back, and meaner than ever which is really fun to watch, but I do feel bad for Lola. Oh well, it is her own fault, she should have just stood up for herself. Chuck was awesome as usual and I'm glad they decided not to stretch out the Diana possibly being Chuck's mother for too long. The only sl I didn't enjoy was Dair's stupid salon. It was boring and so were they. I just don't see any chemistry with those two. Blair always seems so fake around him and Dan is just turning into Rufus. I couldn't care less about their story line at the moment.
More Ivy??? Really? I thouht that she would be done in a few episodes. I guess the writers just love to torture us by wasting screen time on her. As for Lily and Rufus drama, who cares? Lily and Rufus are the one stable couple, and that is very refreshing. As for an epic dair kiss... I seriously doubt it. Their sex in the elevator wasn't close to epic, it was meh. I seriously doubt that these two have enough romantic chemistry to make a kiss epic. Dair is great as friends, but as a couple they gross me out. Unless the big cliffhanger is Nate finally revealing his feelings for Chuck then I really don't think that it will be anything remotely surprising.
