Sorry Daniel Sharman (hardly a teenager) as nuKol is a reborn version of the rather nasty Kol we see in flashbacks. I was really sad when he left the lovable beta Isaac back in Teen Wolf. But the new twist with witchier Kol is a good development. And he is playing both mama and daddy.
Great chemistry between the main protagonists and still working in every scene. Definitely hoping for major growth with Hot Hawley.
The show is brilliant in the fact that it is NOT Batman and it's problem is the fanboys (who have the patience of semi-adolescent boys) are disappointed that the future "villains" are not the full-blown ones. Plus as far as I remember which only goes back 50 years the Penguin and Cat Woman weren't really evil bad guys but helped out Batman on and off.
The episode was great. However Alicia has succeeded in totally alienating her son (who really didn't have his baby aborted), also alienating her brother (there goes the "gay" vote) because he really didn't have an affair with a married porn star. She barely skated with her mother. She probably got into Bishops pocket. And from what Peter said I think "Elfman" isn't who he pretends to be (face scar from motorcycle accident?). I think this is going to dig Alicia into a political quagmire. Hard to run for office without your family at your side.
This was a great episode. I was afraid that "Frozen" would take over the show - but happily that is not the case. Love that the Snow Queen wasn't a reiteration of Esmeralda from last season and no one takes her for face value. It was beautiful how Regina and Henry "saved" Marian and I think this will put a few kinks the the Snow Queen's plan. And way to kick magical ass Emma! Love how her powers are developing. So somehow Emma went back and met the SQ this will be good.
Additional note Mack wanted to have sex "commando style" which as a gay guy I have had it always that way - but in TV shows people are humping and fall asleep and wake up in the morning with tee shirts briefs, bras and panties in America this seems to be he norm - but not outside. Care to comment?
That's right Luke/Ahem Henry embrace the ridiculous side of the the z-force. It's the only way to really enjoy the show. It will never be a quirky motion picture or the ever-depressing Walking Dead but for a late Friday evening, after a couple of martinis, it is a suitable antidote to Blue Bloods.
Well the actor is certainly gone. And I thought that the actress who plays Sami will be leaving also. If they recast both parts it certainly wouldn't be remotely the same.
How delicious is Conner? Smart and viciously gay. And of course Wes is the real villain of the show - maybe Annalise's son?
Agree with the review. Since I have see the pilot umpteen times I want to add that the details were spot on. Just before Barry does his first run his eyes "flash" like the night the accelerator blew up. Plus the theme music was really great - I am from a generation that loved the composers of the movies. I just hope that the comic fanboys don't trash the show because it doesn't follow the many canons of this character.
