Hopefully someone on staff will see this, as I e-mailed about it weeks ago but obviously it wasn't read. On the TVFanatic main page, in the "What's New Tonight" box it says that HIMYM is on at 8:30. It's on at 8:00. Just thought you guys should maybe fix that.
I'm SO beyond sick of the PTC. Just...ugh. They really make me want to move to a different country - one where parents are smart enough to actually parent their children and teach them that television is not real life.
I have never liked Jackson as a character - every week he's just rude and manipulating and contradicts himself at every turn, like how he was trying to use his looks to get more surgeries, and then a few episodes later snaps at Mark that he doesn't want to be judged based on his looks?!
Anyways, I really don't enjoy his character, so yeah - as long as he doesn't end up with Lexie, I really couldn't care less.
Watching this show is like being superglued to a runaway train. You know it's gonna go down in flames, and just want to get it over with.
Someone, please cancel this show - its torturing me every week to watch these characters that I loved in Seasons 1 & 2 become...complete parodies of themselves. The storylines and "scandals" are ridiculous, the characters are constantly out of character, and it's just getting ridiculous at this point.
On the topic of Dan/Blair - I loved Chuck and Blair, and still do, but I get where the Dair fans are coming from. I do like their dynamic and banter, though I personally like watching them as friends rather than romantically. But even if Dair somehow managed to become super epic, you need to realize that they are only one part of the show - and if the rest of it sucks, then there is no show.
Anyways, I'm really hoping the show will only go one more season. I don't know how much longer I can take this.
I actually really liked this episode - it's not my favorite, but I definitely enjoyed it. And what's not to love? Chang yelling at his hermit crabs, Chang washing his clothes in Jeff's dishwasher, Britta and the Not-Lesbian, Annie almost kissing Britta, that Troy/Abed hug (adorable). There were definitely some cute moments!
I'm so pissed! I have been waiting and waiting for Smallville to return, and today I thought "Yay, only one day left!" - and now....WHAT?!?!?! Not to mention, announcing this one day beforehand is ridiculous.
As much as I love TVD, they definitely don't need to be aired again, especially if it causes this to happy.
I'm not watching this show - as the UK version is about ...infinitely better - but the PTC is making me want to just to spite them. Child pornography, really?
I'm so glad I don't know those people in real life.
I really don't get the point of doing a remake of the British Skins. It's already a fantastic show, so why not just show that version on MTV? Not only is it a better version, but I can 100% guarantee higher viewership simply based on the fact that the original has an entire cast of people with British accents. Well, I can at least say that for the female population - accents are pretty irresistible.
So instead of watching the rest of this sub-rate version, I'm just going to re-watch the original Season One :)
*rolls eyes* Man, we American's can be pretty uptight sometimes can't we. I thought he was hilarious, but like Dr.CerrenoMD said - the making fun of other people and themselves is just how British humor generally works, especially Ricky Gervais.
Honestly, the Hollywood Foreign Press must have a few screws loose if they hired Ricky Gervais and thought he would just tell well-mannered jokes. Didn't they do any research on the guy? Anyway, basically I think it's absolutely silly that now they're like "He crossed a line," when really he did exactly what they should have expected.
