Im not sure if baby Matt could help honestly.
His power seems to be turning things on and off. If Peter had a dormant power like Hiro did and they encountered baby matt then hed have a shot.
Peter took the formula and has a power. The only shot hes got is my eli idea or if i seem to remember correctly last week the wall keeping sylar and peter in was peters creation. He needed to accept what Sylar did and move on. Now, Kring has always said the key to Peters power is his heart. Lets see if Monday he is restored.
If not Im afraid we are stuck with tactail peter.

So, the finale. Cant tell if peter had more thanone ability or not. Did he use telekenesis to move the copy guy into place so he could read his mind? I wish they would do something more that the fans want to see.

it defo looked like he held multiple powers during this episode. however, he may have acquired powers (thus replacing the old ones) off screen, so we didnt see him exchange powers.
an example of this was....where did he get flight from when he flew into samuel? and was it sylar using telekenisis on multi-guy when peter read his mind?
i have a little hope that peter can hold more than one power.....just wish they made it clear.

I agree, some clarity would have been nice. I just re-watched trying to figure it out. Sylar wasn't looking when multiple man was spun around, and Peter even said as he moved forward.."if you want something done..". Then, later, he flew into Samuel, used terrakensis. Punched Samuel, and then threw him a good thirty feet or so into the tent. Obviously, he could have gotten flight off screen from Sylar...but the others??

i dont think he has multiple powers...although i would really liked it!! well sylar kept the copy guy down and peter read his mind. then he took sylars ability so he could fly, then he flew onto samuel and took his powers.. thats what i think hapend although i hope i am wrong...

i had an idea actually...i was expecting samuel to shot peter with a gun and everyone then thinks he is dead but sudently he heals..thats when they and we realize that his power has evolved and he can hold more than one power as the last guy he touched was samuel.

They most likely did this on purpose to keep people interested for the next season. Has Peter got his powers back or not? We have to watch to find out.

I would love to see all powerful Peter again. But honestly, I think this has been a good evolution for Peter. He has actually become a better hero, thinking things through, fighting smarter - but he has regained his initial "goodness". He is the true hero. So, if he regains all of his power - he will be better having gone through this. Thats how I would write it anyway! (but heck, I can barely type)

This to me is the same thing that happened in-between Villians and Fugitives.
Peter injects himself with the formula then appears to fly into Nathan and then Fly's out the window. Next volume, Peter took his power at a time he was emotionally disconnected so its a new power in which he can retain one power at a time.
Brave New World
Peter has emotionally reconnected enough with even his brothers murderer. "Your everything that has always been good in the world and I have a feeling the world aint seen nothing yet"
The stage is set. It appears that through random events we will get future Peter. But, next season we learn that he was taking the powers one by one. Hence, continuing to neuter the shows main character.
