I Am Sylar
-
i'm actually wondering if HRG dies. Maybe the end of the episode when they got stopped at the road block has something to do with that? But who really knows.
I liked this episode. I loved Sylars identity crisis... it made me feel bad for the guy.
I hope Hiro will be alright... the nose bleed is a little concerning. And just as the Hiro/Ando bromance was picking up again. Thats a shame.
I am also wondering what happened to let Sylar live in the end. And I wonder what he is going to do to Danko because of it.
I am VERY anxious for Monday's episode. I cant wait to see how all these characters come together to end the season, and I especially cant wait to see who will be the one to die. It looked like a great episode from the preview.

Hated most of the episode, but loved the ending. Zach Quinto is the Justin Timberlake for Heroes - he's so phenomally good for the short moments he's on screen that he makes it worth watching every week just to see if he'll be there.

I would not worry about Hiro’s bleeding nose. I read somewhere that Hiro has a really good storey arc next season so he won’t die. Plus was he trying to freeze time or travel through time? If the producers and writers want to stop time travel then surely this is the way to go? Make the only character that could travel through time nearly die every time he tries to use it. That way he can only freeze time and stiff?

Do we really even know if the stabb to the back of the head has ever worked on Sylar. This would explain how he got out of the fire. Makes perfect since that they would do it like this. Fuller is fixing an earlier loophole about how Sylar lives still.
I loved the show I am exceited about next week but that will mean the end until like September or some crap. It could actually be HRG that dies. This will explain why Sylar becomes him (his personallity) in the future. Sylar can balance his personallity by being the badass family man with power. Everything he has always wanted wrapped up in one shot. Just a thought.

Another solid episode leading up to what should be an excellent finale to what I think has been an excellent volume. I love how events in the dying minutes of the episode were bringing all the characters to Washington, not unlike the end of S1 when everybody was drawn to Kirby Plaza.Getting everybody in one location will set up a great showdown.
I absolutely loved the conflict in Sylar, especially his "Gollum" scenes with his "mother." Quinto has shown some incredible acting abiliites this season and has added good depth to a character who we all once saw as nothing more than a psycopathic killer. I am, however, curious to see how he was able to get up from the knife in the back of the head, if they explain it at all. My guess is Danko missed the spot. Given how Danko has pushed Sylar around, belittled him, and now betrayed him, I can't imagine he has much time left in this world.
Great cameo from Clint Howard. Loved the reappearance of Micah and hope he will become more regular on the show again. Good Parkman family reunion as well.
Hope for all you Hiro lovers out there -- he won't be the one to die. Tim Kring has been talking about the storyline they have for Hiro next season, which would be tough to do ifHiro wasn;t going to be around. So who will it be? Nathan is a logical choice, but I have a hard time picturing Heroes without Adrian Pasdar. I can't wait for Monday's episode, but at the same time I don't what I'm going to do come May 4 and there is no episode of Heroes to occupy my Monday night!

I don't think its a loophole.
The fire was so strong that the glass melted before Sylar's body did. So he still regenerated. That was the only explanation one could come up with.
Either that or you're right, Sylar is completely immune. So far we only see Claire and Peter stopped healing from a stab behind his head. But this could be because they have just received their powers. Like Adam Monroe's immortality, it could be that they have regenerated a lot until they're completely immortal.

Just a thought about the expected death in the finale, but it could be Janice. According to Greg Gunberg, his character causes the death, and it would be a serious mindfuck for Parkman if he caused the death of his estranged wife while trying to reconcile. She also satisfies the criteria of being a character we know, and one who has been around since season 1. With a brief cameo near the beginning of S2 and her appearances late in S3, she has also been in the show at least once every season (although not every volume as I don't recall her appearing in V3). I really have no idea who is going to be killed off, but if the producers are going to give us a cop-out death and still maintain the core of the show, this is a possibiility.

Kal15 i like the janice idea that would be good, was tracy the fake death ? where has see gone if she is ment to be coming back
and the glass did melt in back of sylars head HRG said it Clearly a few episodes back
I think it would be good if everyone thinks nathan has died, then in season 4 near the end peter has the shock of his life when hes back... something like that needs to happen next season something unexpected,
and is claude in the season finale next week? hes listed on imdb in the next episode :O

This was a awesome episode! sylar going all norman bates on us was great! and how they are also going season 1 finale on us with everyone being rounded up and in the same place for it is great. I really liked the dialoge micha and sylar shared too, with the "you can save us all" line.
Ya know im really leaning towards nathan dying. idk it just seems right, but with the way the writers are amping us up with all the slow play it might not be. who knows and i cant wait till next monday. sucks its going to end though the anticipation till next season starts is gonna kill.
I dont think that danko hit the sweat spot with the knife, i mean cause it normally knocks him out for awhile. but we never really have seen that actually work on sylar we just all assume that cause of claire and peter. Sylar might have a better understanding of the ability ya know since HIS actually ability like he said last night is the understanding of how things work. Or he has been stabbed there so many times he has just become immortal. idk
I just cant wait till next monday.

Just a thought on the whole thing about the stab to the back of the head not working.
Earlier in the episode, Sylar pointed out that his shape-shifting power was messing up so strangely that his body wasn't even recompling back to himself properly, such as the extra tooth.
It could simply be possibly that because of all this shape shifting malarky, the "sweet spot" isn't the same anymore. The shape of his body, or its position could have shifted.

Sylar: I can't bring Nathan back Peter, but I can sure as Hell swing a sledgehammer.
