Its Been Buggin Me Since the End Of Last Season!! Insted Of Using Parkman 2 Change His Memory, Y Didnt They Just Use The Haitian?? Especially Now It Seems Like Syler Is Starting To Show Signs Of Getting His Memory Back!!! Y Bother Parkman, When The Haitian Can Do It?!?! And Seems To Get The Job 110% Done!! Look At What He Did To Danko Amungst Others...
yeah, but if you look at how the haitian struggled to control arthur before he died, maybe sylar would have been too powerful for him....he seems too powerful for parkman too.
also. the sylar poppin up in parkman's head isnt sylar, its just parkman's mental state. he's struggling because he knows what he's done is wrong, and goes against the reason he uses his power....thats why he does not want to use his power anymore.
What bothers me is this. Does Sylar still have Charlie's (from the first season, the waitress with perfect memory) power? Or did he not get that because Hiro altered the timeline and she died of brain cancer or whatever? Also, he has the ability to absorb the history of anything he touches. You mean to tell me that there are not about a billion different things in New York that he touched as Sylar that he could touch as Nathan and remember himself bit by bit? Maybe that's where they are going with it, maybe not. Personally, I hope they go with the Ghost in the Shell/Nightmare on Elm St. for awhile. Imagine that, Sylar runs into Sanjog (little Indian dream guide boy) through one of Matt Parkman's dreams, takes the kid's power, and is now a constant threat to every hero in their dreams. Kind of cliche, maybe, but it would be neat on the old boob tube.
Puppy..Sylar does not have Charlies ability; Hiro altered that. True Sylar does have the ability to find history on anything he touches and it could happen because as we clearly see some of those powers are coming out. I dont think they could use the Haitian to do what Parkman did because I want to say it would Negate that power because Haitian can stop Power. So in reality Sylar would not have been able to Shapeshift and the whole process would not have worked. But then again not so sure on this. I think the whole Parkman and Sylar mind thing is going good right now but I dont want it to get old quickly and I sure as hell dont want it where Matt is going evil because that sounds like a Season 3 BS. I think Sylar has officially done his time on this show. Samuel is the shit.
One thing we have to rememberr about Sylar is that at the end of S1 he lost all of his powers, and had to work to reacquire those that he now has. So Charlie's power would have gone bye-bye when Sylar contracted the Shanti virus.
I also like the Sylar-Parkman storyline right now. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. I can't wait to see what Samuel's ultimate agenda is. And I LOVE that Ray Park is in the show. Darth Maul is Da Man. How about a showdown at some point pitting baddie vs. baddie: Sylar Vs. Samuel. Could be a good one.
Welcome back Kal15 havent seen you for a while. Yes I agree that having Ray Park on the show does bring out the excitement which I can say the same for Robert Knoepper. I would like to see a baddie vs baddie scene which brings up an interesting question. Since Sylar is one of the ones that needs to be recruited by the carnival I dont think that he will join quietly and their might be a baddie vs baddie battle.
yeah, this is an issue which has bothered me too.
but i feel the answer may be in a book!! i remember seeing a paperback novel on sale after season 1, which was all about hiro going back to charlie to save her, and peter was also involved somehow, i did only read the back of the book tho.
so, on tv...it was claimed by charlie and hiro that she never had a power. only a tumor on the brain, leading her to have this superb memory. sylar killed her, then hiro went back in time.
but in the graphic novels, it hints that sylar did indeed take a power of memory from charlie.
confusing, and too be honest....not that relevant anymore.
although it would be nice to clear it up, so we know what powers sylar has?:)
I guess Sylar's touch-and-know-the-history-of-things power doesn't apply to himself, or else he'd be right back to being Sylar the moment he touched himself, but does it apply to other people? Can he touch a person and know their history? I thought that the answer was yes when he just got the ability and saved Claire from being sucked into that black hole back in the beginning of S3. There was a moment of understanding in his eyes when he grabbed Claire's hand, like he instantly knew all of the hurt he had caused her, but then this was dropped and never really developed.
I don't read the graphic novels, so if the answer lies in those, someone please let me know.
V.O Man ....I don't think that the Haitian would be possible to erase Sylar memories because remember in s2 when he erased Peter memories they came back slowly because of his healing abilities Sylar also have then.
Maj....I agree "I think Sylar has officially done his time on this show. Samuel is the shit."
Pyropuppy...What is this lol ??? "thought that the answer was yes when he just got the ability and saved Claire from being sucked into that black hole back in the beginning of S3""""
Picazo: You don't remember the black hole guy? When they first started trying to make Sylar good? There was that scene where Claire is holding on to a post and it breaks and Sylar grabs her hand before she got sucked into the black hole. That's what I'm talkin' about, Willis!
