The trick with Idol is being just good enough. Pia was so great that eornyvee thought she didn't need their votes. Scotty, however, was good but not amazing a lot of times, so his fans voted like crazy. Plus it doesn't help most of the hardcore voters are girls and they vote for boys/men who they think are cute, so we get David Cook, Kris Allen, Lee Dwyze, and now Scotty. Fortunately for Scotty, he WILL be a big star in country, but the other dudes..idk. Pia def should've been in the finale!
