Sherlock: One of the things I've gained from our collaboration is the working definition of the word, "friendship". Friendship, I've come to believe, is most accurately defined as two people moving towards the best aspects of one another. It is a relationship of mutual benefit, mutual gain. Another thing I've learned is that my isolationist tendencies are decidedly not my best quality. I am not a better person because of a lack of connection. So I think the healthy thing is for you to not move in my direction. In fact, quite the opposite.
Joan: That's worth thinking about.

You're partisan hacks that twist facts until they cohere to a preexisting viewpoint. All while hiding behind the seemingly academic label "think tank". I despise you and your ilk on both sides of the aisle.

Sherlock

Our relationship is predicated on one Holmes and one Watson. It's a delicate homeostasis. It doesn't function properly if there are two Holmeses and no Watsons. So while I am sensitive to this is likely a ripple effect from the tragedy, turning yourself into me in response is not good for our partnership.

Sherlock

Now that I see them up close, they seem so much less frightening than I supposed. Indeed, they appear almost human.

Emperor Charles

I think we found the killer.

Golan

Please. I need your help. Please.

Emma

Joshua: Satan isn't a toy.
Debbie: Different people believe different things.

I lost someone close to me. I know how painful it is.

Peter

Lynn: I'm relieving you of your position. You're going home.
Peter: Lynn.
Lynn: Your flight leaves in three hours. Your driver will escort you back to hotel to pack and then you're going to the airport.
Peter: This is bigger than you and me, this is bigger than Emma Wilson's murder. The people who killed her are planning something to throw the whole region into chaos; maybe the world.
Lynn: I need your badge and gun.

Peter: You ever heard of the Order of Mariah?
Golan: I saw them in concert a few years back. They're pretty good. Why?

Lagertha: Is he alive? They told me the news. Is he dying? Is my son dying?
Woman: I don't know.
Lagertha: What happened?
Ragnar: He was proving that you don't need a title to be a leader.
Rollo: You should never have let him climb the ladder. Now he may die.
Ragnar: Both of you stop treating him like a child. He is a man. So let him be one.

Harsh are the gods! But I performed great sacrifices, I loved you, I gave you half of all my best goods. And still you have betrayed me!
