Recap

It's winter in Montana, and judging by the nightie Elizabeth is wearing with her shoulder out of the covers, the indoor heating must be great.

She's sending Jack out to address a situation.

Jacob comes into the house to warm his hands. Cara has been praying next to the fire. Jacob and Jack are on the move, and the women who love them hope they return.

Those using cars in Boseman are having trouble getting on the road thanks to the snow, but that doesn't stop the Yellowstone posse at all. They ride in, followed by the Sherriff's brigade.

Banner enjoying his new home, heading into the fully stocked kitchen for a bottle of champagne. He's got a naked woman waiting for him in the bedroom. Nope, he's got two naked women waiting for him.

It's freezing outside, so he pours cold champagne onto one gal's torso and onto the bed. He asks the wet gal to roll over so the other can drink champagne from the crevice of her back.

The bell is ringing, and Banner directs the whores to wait. They don't.

The gang is there to arrest Banner. He's shocked that Jacob is alive and wants him arrested for hanging him and killing his friends for trespassing. The Sheriff says he was well within his rights to do so. Banner spouts off, practically confessing to what he's accused of doing.

Meanwhile, the gals in the bedroom are getting into it.

Whitfield is outside of a mine as men unspool cable from inside. He's the last to walk away from the mine door as the explosives are set off. He thinks he's a badass.

Whatever they were after is achieved, and the men head inside with wheelbarrows. A red-headed guy runs up to Whitfield. He saw Jake Dutton. He's alive! And instead of killing Banner, they arrested him, which Whitfield says is their first mistake.

An attorney arrives to assist Banner. He tells Banner to say nothing to anyone at all. Banner asks the man to run off the whores before they rob him blind. The attorney is certain Banner will be released tomorrow.

Whitfield gives him instructions to pass onto the judge and decides to visit the whores for removal himself. They're giggling and having a grand time in the kitchen when he arrives. He says it doesn't look like they need a customer at all. He pays the women, who admit it's too much. Well, we haven't finished yet, have we, he asks.

Banner bends her over the kitchen island, wraps his tie around her eyes, lifts her skirt, removes his belt, and hands it to the redhead to strike her. Whitfield isn't pleased with her lack of strenght and shows her what he wants. He's a sadistic bastard.

Cara is writing Spencer. He's coming home, but it doesn't stop her from writing. She considers it like journaling. Writing to herself seems to narcissistic that she can't bring herself to do it, so she writes to Spencer.

Cara explains about Spencer's innate ability to listen. She's more like Jack. She needs a purpose. They decide to bake a cake. It's Elizabeth's first. Jacob and Jack come home to that lovely sight.

Jacob feels pretty good about Banner being behind bars and being sent to the gallows for murder.

Elizabeth is very excited to see Jack and admonishes him for being late. Her admonishment includes smothering him in kisses. He cannot wait to see what he gets when he's been gone for a week. She won't allow that.

Jack's reading the paper. Calvin Coolidge got Grizzly bears from Mexico and set them free on the White House lawn. All of it launches a discussion about politics and governance and right and wrong, of which there isn't any. It's what's right for me and my family, instead.

A man arrives at Teonna's grandma's house to find her dead. He does a little tracking outside. As he's looking around, another man rids up, wondering what happened. It wasn't thieves since she had nothing to take, and thieves don't shoe thier horses. The first man is Teonna's fathher. The second is Hank's son with news about Teonna. They've determined who was at the house was the government, and now they know why.

Teonna's dad buries his mother. The hole he dug is quite impressive. He heads back to his camp and gathers weapons.

Hank's son is sitting by a campfire when the church representatives ride up. They're really annoying and prod him with questions. They threaten him, and when the first approaches, he attacks him, which prompts the other two to jump down to pummel him. They're tying him up and taking him to their school. Who the fuck are these people??

Teonna's father finds his horse without a rider, and when he gets back to his fire, he's gone, but his hat remains. Looks like it's a full moon because he can see tracks in the dirt.

The stupid priest is chatting with his captive like it's just the normal thing to do. He says that others like them who have followed their teachings prosper. But his kind rejects them, and suffering is their reward. He says the natives seek and crave darkness and are already hand in hand with the devil.

The kid wonders if he's a priest, a man of God, then how could he kill and steal? He knows the laws of God, but the priests break those laws they're trying to teach. That inflames him. He begins to pray before killing the boy, but Teonna's dad arrives, scalping him and slitting his throat. Yay!

Teonna's father sends the boy back to wait with the horses and eats the dead man's soul.

Teonna emerges for the day to the priests. They don't recognize her dressed as a boy. She says she's seen no girl. They aren't inclined to fuck with her too much because she has a vocation. But when they get closer, they see her bruises. She takes off, but they're stronger and faster.

The priest decides the best course of action is to free her breasts and feel her up. So, she blinds him in one eye. Finally, Hank emerges and shoots the bastards. Once again, Teonna's been beaten by the clergy. She can barely stand, and her face is a bloody mess.

One of the priests stands up and shoots Hank in the back. He's right up on the side of her, putting another cartridge in the shotgun, when she grabs a rock smashes his brain in.

She screams in anger.

Alex is a the bow of the ship letting the wind wash over her. Spencer is thanking the captain. He is in his debt. The captain finally admits that he has known who Spencer is due to his fame as a hunter. The agree that the see is the last place that men do the right thing.

They're on land in Italy, where a sailor suggests they head inland because he's got a gun. They won't like that, the mafia will like it even less.

This is the first time he's been in a restaurant with someone since he was in Montana. She says she thinks they'll see more of them the further they move from danger. He says they're not moving far from danger.

They're canoodling together when someone calls her name. It's her fiance.
