Eddie struggles to find reliable childcare for his son Christopher, especially after his grandmother breaks her hip while watching him. He has to take Christopher to the firehouse for the day, where he gets to hang out with everyone and even go to the scene of a crash. Ultimately, Bucks gets Carla to help out with Christopher. 

Chimney runs into Tatiana after a doctors checkup and begins to evaluate what his life has been like post-accident. 

The firefighters deal with a series of situations in which people have found themselves to be stuck, including a security guard stuck between two buildings, a woman whose head is stuck in a tailpipe, a man stuck in an ATM and a man who gets sucked into an escalator. 

Athena is offered a promotion to become a lieutenant but decides against accepting the job. 

Maddie moves out of Abby's condo and gets her own place nearby.
