Recap
An Alpha named Markus, a former patient of Rosen’s, breaks free of his ambulance during a prisoner transport.
He begins murdering all of the people who stood in his way at the prison, those who tried to change him.
He eventually kidnaps Rosen and finds that he is the variable in everything, with the power to change the outcome of the Alphas.
Markus is then shot in the chest and his body falls in the river beneath him. Markus' body is never recovered and the episode ends with a quarter on the shore. A quarter is Markus’ main weapon of choice.
Meanwhile, Cameron is trying to come to terms with the fact that he is similar to Markus, but not the same.
