Bonnie Nolan is trying to buy her husband, Steve, a Rolex for his birthday. The jeweler wants to put it on Mr. Nolan's account. Bonnie has no money of her own, of course.

Kathleen, Diana, and Bonnie are lounging by the pool with Kathleen's boyfriend, Greg. Greg gets the idea for a swim, which means sex with the pool boy while he changes into a swimsuit. Whoops!

When Steve arrives home, Bonnie greets him in a new, floor-lenght gown carrying a freshly made Manhattan in her hand. On the TV is a woman talking about women's rights to equal work and pay. Steve opens his lips, so we don't like what comes out.

At a dinner with a young couple, the other wife says having a baby is about her husband, supporting him. The fellow, Paul, also says his wife has a great ass, to which she replies he's sweet.

In bed, Bonnie says Steve doesn't smell like himself. And she needs money so he says he'll write her a check.

At the club later, Bonnie's interest is piqued when Kathleen says a woman on Phil Donohue knew her husband was having an affair when he changed his cologne.

When Steve later has an emergency in real estate, Bonnie gathers the kids for an amusement park ride in the back seat. She discovers Steve having an affair with the full cliche intact.

Bonnie starts feeling empowered on her way home, verbally attacking guys who did the same to her, but more successfully.

When Steve gets home, Bonnie starts by asking if he sold the house or built it, too. Or he could tell the truth. Was the human barbie doll on the bottom or the top so she could stop staring at the ceiling for a change?

When Bonnie asks her friends for help with her divorce, Diana admits she cries several times at work because it's harder out there for a working woman. Kathleen is wealthy no matter what.

Bonnie talks to Jessica and Becca about their daddy. They wonder what's next and if she wanted him to leave. No, but he needed to leave. She's going to do everything she can to make it better. She promises.

She has Steve's birthday without him, and it's the best party because she throws the best parties.

At the end of his party, the police show up with a warrant for Steve's arrest. It may not be Bonnie's house for long!
