Recap

Gay Bill, Goames, Yvon, and the Iroquois follow their orders, attacking more French settlers. At Goames' insistence, Gay Bill spares the life of one girl, to remind Cooke of the deal he struck for pistols. Hamish leaves Yvon to protect the girl while he goes to Wobik. Mathilde is preparing Trepagny's wedding feast. Bouchard insists on escorting Mathilde to the wedding celebration so that she gets there safely. Mari's return has riled up Melissande. She suggests giving Mari to Sel. Trepagny runs the proposition by Rene. Cooke's talk with Delphine about their match is interrupted by Goames. He warns Cooke that if Selby doesn't get the pistols, the Iroquois will burn down Wobik. Duquet and Goames make a deal to get the pistols to the Iroquois camp. Goames tells a bloody Yvon to take the girl and leave. Goames informs Gay Bill and the chief about the arrangement with Duquet. Sel runs Trepagny's proposal by Mari but she wants to think about it. Renardette catches Duquet stealing the pistols but he knocks her out and puts her in his wagon. Melissande demands Mari's answer before the wedding. Mathilde discovers Renardette missing and summons Bouchard. Cooke admits there were pistols in one of the barrels. Renardette escapes. The Iroquois get the pistols. Mari makes Trepagny one last supper. She slips a drug into his bowl. He collapses at the manor house. Melissande finds him seemingly dead the next morning. Mari departs.
