-Lance, a businessman from Iowa is murdered outside of a high end restaurant. His wife, Margaret saw a man run by after the shooting.
-The mayor is unhappy with Frank's press conference concerning the crime and wants him to amend his statement. Frank refuses.
-Pierre, a cab driver and former Haitian cop is identified as the man who ran past. Erin pushes for Margaret to identify him in a lineup but Danny disagrees since his picture has been all over the TV.
-Erin pushes to indict Pierre but Danny still has doubts about his guilt. Frank tries to mediate between the two.
-Further investigation shows that Margaret was having an affair with Carl, Lance's business associate. Margaret then points the finger at Carl for the murder but Carl saved her voicemail messages proving they had planned it together.
