It's Christmas Ever and the Belchers are heading over to Big Bob's Diner where Bob's father, Big Bob, is having his annual Christmas party. Despite his many objections, Bob is forced to go to the party by Linda. Bob resents his dad over his overly controlling ways and belittling of him when he used to work at his fathers diner as a teenager, which lead him to reject his father's offer of partnership at the restaurant. Once there, Linda pushes the men together in the kitchen, adamant that "Christmas magic" will bring the two men closer together. As expected, old arguments resurface and reach a boiling point when they fight to make different meals for one of the diner's regulars. When the regular choses Bob's burger, Big Bob leaves the diner and heads to the bar next door, humiliated. Bob heads over to the bar and boot scoots his way onto the dance floor where he apologizes to his father over how he handled the situation at the diner and how he left the diner years ago. Big Bob also apologizes for how he's treated Bob over the years. Reconciled, they both head back to the diner.
